    Defensive Buffs decrease the damage that you take from certain sources. These can be against Common Infected, Special Infected or particular types of tank damage. There are other buffs however that are said to be more useful in giving you more survivability or giving you more ways to survive when fighting against the infected.

    Currently, there are 35 Defensive Buffs.

    ^ Indicates that the Buff is temporary and will expire after a certain period of time has passed.
    * Indicates that there needs to be an event currently active in order to be able to get the Buff from that event.
    + Indicates that the Buff has a Buff Enhancement that can be applied to it.
    For Event Buffs, the Buff/Event Requirement highlighted in green is the recommended way to go about obtaining the buff.


    1. Anger Ignition+

    Buff Requirements:
    Cost: $63 Cash
    Required Level: 5

    Description:
    When you are hit by a Common Infected, you gain a 1% chance to ignite everything around you due to your boiling fury. You also gain a 1% chance to ignite Specials or Tanks every hit.
    <Incompatible with Enhanced Anger Ignition>

    Tips on Buff Usage:
    • As a low level player, the Anger Ignition Buff can be useful for survivability if you need a way to get the infected off of you. Once you reach higher levels, you'll be able to equip better buffs that give better survivability against the infected in general.
    • In VS, Anger Ignition can be useful if you want a way to save yourself from pinning SI. It's best to equip it alongside other pin saving buffs however as most SI use the Vampire Buff to heal off any fire damage taken.

    Benefit in Buff Sets:
    On Common Infected hitting you, gain a 1% chance to ignite everything around you. Also gain a 1% chance to ignite Specials/Tanks on hit.

    Buff Enhancements that can be applied to this Buff:
    • Furious Ignition: Increases chance to activate to 3%. Chance doubled if pinned/down.

    2. |Q| Mutation Shield (Expires)^

    Buff Requirements:

    Description:
    This buff will make your body generate special antibodies against the mutation bacteria, blocking the Mutation status.

    Tips on Buff Usage:
    • As a Controller/Guard User, you can consider using the |Q| Mutation Shield Buff until you have |E| Reactive Inoculation Buff or Anti-Mutation Order ability (Controller Class Level 4) if you really can't afford to become mutated by the SI.
    • In VS, the Mutation Shield Buff can save you from dying easily to any special infected pinning you or tanks attacking you while incapacitated. It can also help in cases where you were planning to use your knife on any pinning SI, suich as Smokers or Jockeys but weren't able to do so by the time you became Mutated.

    Benefit in Buff Sets:
    Gives you Protection against the Mutation Bad Status Effect.
    3. |Q| Poison Shield (Expires)^

    Buff Requirements:

    Description:
    Prevents you from getting poisoned by injecting antibodies to yourself. All allies in 150 units will also be blocked from being poisoned. Lowers the damage dealt and taken from the Radiation status by 20%.

    Tips on Buff Usage:
    • In COOP, The |Q| Toxin Shield Buff can help give a bit more survivability during the Irradiation area mutation. You can equip it alongside |E| Reactive Inoculation Buff if you're in an indoors map where getting inflicted by Radiation status is almost impossible to avoid.
    • In VS, Being able to prevent the Poison status on you and your teammates can save time on needing to revive incapacitated survivors whenever you need to deal with a Poison Witch.

    Benefit in Buff Sets:
    Prevents you and other survivors in 150 units from being poisoned. You also deal and take 20% less damage from the Radiation status.
    4. Guardian Moustachio+

    Buff Requirements:
    Cost: $1,755 Cash
    FR-Pills Cost: 1 FR-Pill
    Required Level: 105

    Description:
    Grants 5 seconds of moustachio bless before lethal damage is taken. Moustachio bless will block most forms of damage you take except for fall damage.
    <Works only once per round>


    Tips on Buff Usage:
    • In COOP and Scenario, the Guardian Moustachio Buff can come in handy in situations where you wouldn't want to die due to Tank Mechanics or Survivability in general. Make sure to use the time you're given in Moustachio Bless to heal yourself or move away from the infected if you need to survive.
    • In VS, the Guardian Moustachio Buff is absolutely essential if you want to survive from any SI pinning you or Tanks trying to kill you. Getting the Guardian Recharger Buff Enhancement is also highly recommended, allowing you to possibly save yourself from death more than once.

    Benefit in Buff Sets:
    On taking lethal damage, grants 5 seconds of Moustachio Bless.

    Buff Enhancements that can be applied to this Buff:
    • Guardian Recharger: After activating, Guardian Moustachio/Guardian Dispenser will be available again in 4/5 minutes.
    5. Morphine Injector+

    Buff Requirements:
    Cost: $3,573 Cash
    Required Level: 30

    Description:
    Heals 5 HP every 5 seconds with a chance equal to 10 + 10% of your level to heal triple.
    <Cannot heal if poisoned/incapacitated>
    <Incompatible with Advanced Morphine Injector>


    Tips on Buff Usage:
    • For a low level player, the Morphine Injector Buff can give you much needed survivability from the infected since you won't have a lot of maximum HP to survive with. Just make sure to stay away from any Tanks/Witches that deal high damage since regeneration Buffs become useless in the face of danger.

    Benefit in Buff Sets:
    Heal 5 HP/5s with a chance equal to 10 + 10% of level to heal triple.

    <Incompatible with Advanced Morphine Injector>

    Buff Enhancements that can be applied to this Buff:
    • Boosted Morphine: Using Pills/Adrenaline will also give you 10HP/s regen for 20 seconds.
      <Also works with Advanced Morphine Injector>
    • |E| Reactive Injector: After being resurrected, the buff's effect activates every second for 5 seconds.
      <Also works with Morphine Injector>
    6. Blast Padding

    Buff Requirements:
    Cost: $10,575 Cash
    Required Level: 80

    Description:
    Prevents instant death from Bomb Tank or desperate Tank explosions, instead stunning you for 13 seconds and halving your current health. Lowers the damage and knockback from car explosions by 30%. Grants defense from blast damage, including true damage, equal to 10% of your current level, maximum 25% bonus.

    Tips on Buff Usage:
    • As a low level player, the Blast Padding Buff is recommended if you know you can't avoid Bomb Tank's aggro towards you and don't have the Moustachio Bless skill unlocked yet. You could otherwise try avoiding going near the Bomb Tank at all in the first place when it spawns.
    • In VS, the Blast Padding Buff can be helpful in reducing the knockback and blast damage taken from cars exploded by Clan Tanks using the Earth Smash ability, potentially allowing you to survive. This is the buffs only real use however.

    Benefit in Buff Sets:
    Prevents instant death from Bomb Tank/desperate Tank explosions, instead stunning you for 13 seconds and halving current health. Gives -30% reduced car explosion damage/knockback and (10% of current level) defense from blast damage, including true damage, max 25%.
    7. Counter Slap+

    Buff Requirements:
    Cost: $7,875 Cash
    FR-Pills Cost: 2 FR-Pills
    Required Level: 98

    Description:
    Passively lowers the power of Boomer Bitch Slaps by 10%. Each Boomer killed during the round increases the reduction by another 2%, up to 40%. If a status is inflicted when landing from a Bitch Slap, you gain a chance for it to be returned to the slapper, equal to your current slap reduction.

    Tips on Buff Usage:
    • In VS, there are maps where Karma Slaps are known to easily occur, given the Assassin Boomers who can slap the survivors high. In cases where you can survive said fall damage taken, equipping the Counter Slap Buff isn't a bad idea. Make sure to kill boomers often if you want to further increase your chances of survival against Bitch Slaps.
    • In Scenario, given the Helms Deep Scenario, if you know you'll die from bitchslaps while trying to do Guarding outdoors, you could consider using the Counter Slap Buff to reduce the potential knockback/fall damage taken from Boomers. If you already have |E| It wasn't that high Buff however, it may be best to rely on using that Buff instead.

    Benefit in Buff Sets:
    Gives -10% reduced Bitch Slap power against you. Each boomer killed increases the reduction by 2%, max -40%. If a status is inflicted after landing from a Bitch Slap, you have (current Bitch Slap reduction) chance to return it back to the slapper.

    Buff Enhancements that can be applied to this Buff:
    • Fall Spike: Returns 3x the fall damage taken to the slapper. If incapacitated/killed by the slap, the slapper is instantly killed.

    8. |E| Slow Resistance+

    Buff Requirements:

    Event Requirements:
    1. Obtain it from the Bitter Chocolate Box for 15 Cupid Tokens, letting you get the buff at random from the list of buffs you don't yet have.
    2. Get it for 75 Caramel Candies from the Caramel Candy Market within !event. Only during the Halloween 2017, 2018 and 2019 events.
    3. Get it for 15 Summer Tokens from the Summer Market within !event. Only during the Summer 2020 event.
    4. Get it for 20 Christmas Vouchers from the Christmas Market within !event. Only during the Christmas 2021 event.
    Description:
    Reduces the maximum slow from Spitters by 25%. Additionally, the time before slows start decaying is decreased by 33%, and slows decay 50% faster.

    Tips on Buff Usage:
    • In VS, the |E| Slow Resistance Buff can help you to get through areas quicker where getting slowed down by Slower Spitters is a possibility. This can possibly reduce the the amount of bounty earned for them and gives you a better chance to to survive going through the area without being incapacitated by the spit damage.

    Benefit in Buff Sets:
    Gives -25% reduced maximum slow from Spitters. Additionally, gain -33% decreased time before slows decay and +50% faster slow decay.

    Buff Enhancements that can be applied to this Buff:
    • |E| Slow Repellent: Once a stun/freeze/paralyze effect ends, you become immune to slow effects for 10 seconds (5 seconds for tanks).
    9. Hope on Sight+

    Buff Requirements:
    Cost: $4,950
    FR-Pills Cost: 3 FR-Pills
    Required Level: 50

    Description:
    While incapacitated, If there is a visible standing teammate, your bleedout rate will decrease by 50% and you gain 5% defense. For each other visible standing survivor, you'll gain another 2% defense. After being revived, the effects of this buff linger for 15 seconds.

    Tips on Buff Usage:
    • In VS, when battling against Tanks, the Hope on Sight Buff can be useful for the defense it gives, which can allow you to survive more hits after being revived from incapacitation before you go down again.

    Benefit in Buff Sets:
    While incapacitated, with a visible standing teammate, decreases bleedout rate by 50% and gives +5% defense. For each other visible standing survivor, gain +2% additional defense. After being revived, the buff effects linger for 15 seconds.

    Buff Enhancements that can be applied to this buff:
    • Wish on Sight: No bleedout if a visible standing teammate is within 300 units and you aren't crawling.

    10. Group Morale+

    Buff Requirements:
    Cost: $4,500 Cash
    FR-Pills Cost: 30 FR-Pills
    Required Level: 90

    Description:
    You gain 1% defense for each alive survivor besides yourself. After being resuscitated from death, the defense gain per ally is increased to 1.5% for 15 seconds.

    Tips on Buff Usage:
    • As a low level player, the Group Morale Buff is quite good to have, giving you increased survivability against SI and Tanks for when you don't have many Defensive Buff options. As you go up into the higher levels however, you may want to consider the use of Defensive Boosters in the face of better survivability Buffs.
    • In VS, Group Morale Buff can provide one of the only few sources of Defense gain against SI and Tanks. It's best to combine it with the General Tank Handler Buff for even more survivability in the case of Tank fights.

    Benefit in Buff Sets:
    You gain +1% defense for every other survivor alive. Gain +1.5% defense increase instead for 15 seconds if resuscitated.

    Buff Enhancements that can be applied to this Buff:
    • |E| Group Spirit: Gain +2% True Damage reduction per ally in 400 range, up to +15%.
      <Maximum reduction of 150 damage>
    11. Infected Swarm Protection+

    Buff Requirements:
    Cost: $13,500 Cash
    Required Level: 50

    Description:
    Gain 3% defense against common infected multiplied by the number of common infected in 135 unit range. Lowers common infected attack rate to you by 50%.

    Tips on Buff Usage:
    • In Scenario, given the Weird Way to Thank Scenario, the Infected Swarm Protection Buff can be used if you're worried about getting easily incapacitated by the CI as having them attack you less can help you to kill the attacking CI. If you want even more defense against CI, consider using |V| Persistence Buff and face away from them towards the other survivors.

    Benefit in Buff Sets:
    Gives 3% defense against common infected multiplied by the number of them in 135 units. CI also attack you -50% slower.

    Buff Enhancements that can be applied to this Buff:
    • |E| Infected Guard: Grants Infected Guard ability (Command: sm_infguard). When activated, grants CI claw damage immunity for 20s. (3 minute cooldown)
    12. |E| Fentanyl Injector+

    Buff Requirements:
    MG Store Cost: $2.00 USD

    Event Requirements:
    1. Obtain it from the White Chocolate Box for 15 Cupid Tokens, letting you get the buff at random from the list of buffs you don't yet have.
    2. Get it for 125 Caramel Candies from the Caramel Candy Market within !event. Only during the Halloween 2017, 2018 and 2019 events.
    3. Get it for 20 Summer Tokens from the Summer Market within !event. Only during the Summer 2020 event.
    4. Get it for 20 Christmas Vouchers from the Christmas Market within !event. Only during the Christmas 2021 event.

    Description:
    Heals 5HP per second after receiving damage from tanks until you reach full health. If a Tank is alive and you haven't been hit by a Tank in 3 seconds, the heal increases by 1 per second up to 10 times.

    Tips on Buff Usage:
    • In VS, |E| Fentanyl Injector is one of the better buffs for regeneration. While it can't fully protect you from Tanks with high punch damage, such as those inside saferooms, it does have use when you're on the move running away from them and or within finale areas moving around, giving you some more time to survive before you become incapacitated.

    Benefit in Buff Sets:
    Heals 5HP/s after receiving damage from tanks until you reach full HP. If a Tank is alive and you haven't been hit by 1 in 3s, gain +1 HP/s increased heal up to 10 times.
    <Cannot heal if poisoned/incapacitated>

    Buff Enhancements that can be applied to this Buff:
    • |E| Fentanyl Booster: For 30s, also gain +5 temporary HP/s if below 80% current HP. (45 second cooldown)
    13. General Tank Handler+

    Buff Requirements:
    Cost: $31,500 Cash
    FR-PIlls Cost: 10 FR-Pills
    Required Level: 100

    Description:
    Gives defense against Tanks equal to 0.12%, multiplied by your current level.

    Tips on Buff Usage:
    • In COOP/Scenario in general, the General Tank Handler Buff is quite good for survivability with the amount of defense given against Tanks, scaling by level. Worth equipping if your buff set is more balanced in terms of buff usage and you don't plan on using Defense boosters.
    • In VS, the General Tank Handler Buff is one of your main sources of defense against Tanks. If you really want to be tanky and have very good survivability against them, equipping other Defensive Buffs such as Group Morale and |V| Crush Resistance will really help you out. Just don't get mutated!
    • The Note: <Max buff defense percent: 90%> was used to indicate to the survivors about how much maximum defense could be attained using buffs/boosters/items that gave defense as a percentage % VS the infected. Since the Summer Event 2020 changelog updates however, this note has since been removed. Maximum defense for the survivors is otherwise is still 90% but varies between Tank Tiers.

    Benefit in Buff Sets:
    Gives +0.12% defense against tanks, multiplied by your current level.

    Buff Enhancements that can be applied to this buff:
    • |E| General Tank Mastery: Gives +0.12% increased recovery speed from Tank punch/rock stuns, multiplied by your current level.

    14. |E| Love is in the air+

    Buff Requirements:

    Event Requirements:
    Obtain it from the Bitter Chocolate Box for 15 Cupid Tokens, letting you get the buff at random from the list of buffs you don't yet have.

    Description:
    You can select a teammate in the !buy menu and set them as your favourite. Your favourite gains up to 25% defense depending on how close you are to them. The max range is 500 units. If in range, you take up to 10% base damage they take. If in 250 units when favourite gains permanent health, you will heal 25% of their heal.

    Tips on Buff Usage:
    • In COOP, if you need to keep a low level player or a specific player alive for a good reason, using |E| Love is in the air Buff can be beneficial to you and them if you can avoid being separated away by the infected.
    • In Scenario, the |E| Love is in the air Buff is viable if you can manage to get the |E| Destiny Bond Buff Enhancement. This can help make some Scenario positions easier (e.g. Support/Guard) when you and your partner both need to be defibbed in order to keep things from going bad, especially when the main Scenario Tank is nearly dead.

    Benefit in Buff Sets:
    Allows you to select a teammate in the !buy menu, making them your favourite. Your favourite gains up to +25% defense and you take up to 10% base damage they take within 500 units. Within 250 units, when your favourite gains HP, you heal for 25% HP.

    • Destiny Bond: If both you and your favourite are dead, being resuscitated in any way also resuscitates your favourite with half health.

    15. |E| It wasn't that high

    Buff Requirements:

    Event Requirements:
    1. Obtain it from the Sweet Chocolate Box for 15 Cupid Tokens, letting you get the buff at random from the list of buffs you don't yet have.
    2. Get it for 50 Caramel Candies from the Caramel Candy Market within !event. Only during the Halloween 2017, 2018 and 2019 events.
    3. Get it for 20 Summer Tokens from the Summer Market within !event. Only during the Summer 2020 event.
    4. Get it for 30 Christmas Vouchers from the Christmas Market within !event. Only during the Christmas 2021 event.
    Description:
    Decreases fall damage by 10% and increases damage threshold to ragdoll by 300HP. Also prevents ragdoll death once per round if you died from fall damage within 600 units of another visible survivor. In survival gamemode, the ragdoll prevention doesn't require a nearby ally.

    Tips on Buff Usage:
    • In Scenario, the |E| It wasn't that high Buff is absolutely mandatory on the Summit Scenario at all times. In Prison/Heartbroken (given Part 1) and Awakening (before Main Tank) Scenarios, it's highly recommend you equip the Buff, especially in the case of Knight/Fighter/Supreme Knight Tank showing up. It'll allow you to prevent yourself from permanent death once per round, caused by fall damage.
    • As a Controller/Guard player in Helms Deep Scenario, a case can also be made for equipping |E| It wasn't that high Buff if you're worried about Boomers karma slapping you, causing you to take too much fall damage. Make sure to use it if you'll know you will need it for survivability.

    Benefit in Buff Sets:
    Gives -10% decreased fall damage and +300HP increased damage threshold to become ragdoll'd. Also prevents ragdoll death once per round if killed by fall damage within 600 units of another visible survivor (not required in survival gamemode).

    16. |E| Enhanced Anger Ignition+

    Buff Requirements:

    Description:

    Tips on Buff Usage:
    • As a Controller/Guard player, the |E| Enhanced Anger Ignition Buff can help keep nearby infected off of you when Deflection Suit Buff just isn't enough to deal with higher HP targets. It's also good for when your shots trigger fireball bursts on the infected further away, allowing the fire damage to kill the infected before they can reach you or the area being guarded.

    Benefits in Buff Sets:
    When hit by CI, gain 1% chance to ignite everything around you. Also gain 1% chance to ignite Specials/Tanks on hit. After either effect activates, the source of ignition emits 3 fireball bursts each second for 200 burn damage. 20s CD.

    17. Mindset Change+

    Buff Requirements:
    Cost: $54,000 Cash
    FR-Pills Cost: 125 FR-Pills
    Required Level: 150

    Description:
    You can be incapacitated an unlimited amount of times, but each time it happens, your maximum health when incapacitated will become 90% of the previous value. Using a first aid kit resets it to full. Lowers crawling health loss and increases crawl speed by 25%.

    Tips on Buff Usage:
    • As a non-tenacity Player, Mindset Change Buff is quite good for survivability when you realise that the increased crawling speed comes in handy in Scenarios where you can't easily be revived. It's useful for allowing you to crawl quicker out of range of specific tank abilities as well if being incapacitated would get you easily killed by them.
    • For Controllers/Guard users not running Tenacity Buff, the Mindset Change Buff is worth equipping mainly due to the Blood Transfusion Buff Enhancement. Having a way to revive yourself without the need to use any health items is quite a boon, allowing you to continue guarding as long as you can kill the infected.

    Benefit in Buff Sets:
    Allows you to be incapacitated an unlimited number of times. On each incap, max incap HP becomes 90% of the previous value. Using a first aid kit resets it to full. Also reduces crawling HP loss and increases crawl speed by 25%.

    Buff Enhancements that can be applied to this Buff:
    • Blood Transfusion: While incapacitated, your bleed out rate is equal to (standing allies count) % faster, but killing Commons/Specials/Ubers heal for 10/100/200 HP and delay bleedout damage by 1/3/5 seconds. Reaching full health from a Special/Uber kill will revive you.

    18. Tenacity+

    Buff Requirements:
    Cost: $495,000 Cash
    FR-Pills Cost: 1,000 FR-Pills
    Required Level: 210

    Description:
    Grants 150 Max HP per level above 200, maximum +5,000, but you die when your health reaches 0. Medkits heal for 50% max health, but the first medkit used at below 50% health will fully heal. Every 5 minutes (once per round if < Lv. 235), upon taking infected lethal damage, you will instead fall unconscious for 10 seconds, after which you heal 1000 HP/s and block pins for 10 seconds. Halves HP recovery penalty from Intense Bleeding status.

    Tips on Buff Usage:
    • On COOP/Scenario, you're best to use Tenacity around level 230~ and onwards when it should give you a high enough amount of maximum HP to survive with.     • As a Controller/Guard user, there are a few areas where using the Tenacity Buff can help you perform better in terms of survivability. Mainly outdoor areas where the infected can surround you from multiple sides with Boomer slaps a potential danger could be a reason to consider using the Buff over not using it.

It's not a bad idea to use |E| Fatal Guard when Cloaked Assassin Tank can't be easily killed with no one able to track its location, or you're the only one able to do so. This gives you time to take action and prevent anymore unnecessary survivor deaths from the Tank itself.
    • Given the Freezing Tank on the Trainwreck Scenario and with some tanks that can inflict the Frozen status, using |E| Fatal Guard Buff is recommended if you don't have the|E| Reactive Inoculation or |E| Berserk (with Juggernaut BE) Buffs or think you can't survive at all while being Frozen. In the case of using |E| Fatal Guard Buff, you're recommended to use Defensive Boosters if the tank in question deals high punch damage.

    • As a Controller/Guard user, the Unstoppable Buff is mandatory if you want a way to block SI pins, especially if you want to earn any cexp for the Controller class. It's also good in general in COOP when using the Tenacity Buff as a buff combo because of the increased survivability you'll have when up against any SI trying to pin you repeatedly.
    • If you can manage to get the Unyielding Buff Enhancement, Unstoppable Buff has a use against dormant Tanks where being able to block tank punch stuns can give you more time to kite the tank around a given area or to deal more damage to it.

    • In Scenario, given the |V| Guardian Dispenser Buff, if you can manage to get the |E| Phantom Guardian Buff Enhancement, it'll give you time to heal yourself and or do anything to help the other survivors survive (e.g. defibbing, reviving, positioning for death) while the infected leave you alone for a short time. It's also quite a good death save Buff since the bad status cleansing effect is useful with the likes of Cleanse Scenario for getting rid of the Blind status, make sure to bring it if you know you'll need it to survive Tank attacks better.

    Description:

    You take 1% - 50% less damage from tanks while incapacitated depending on your current health. The higher your health is, the more damage you block.

    Tips on Buff Usage:
    • In VS, the |V| Crush Resistance Buff is the best survivability buff out there against tanks when targeted as an incapacitated survivor. This'll allow you to damage tanks more as they regenerate less HP with the Vampire Buff because of the reduced damage dealt to you. If you want the defense gain from the |V| Crush Resistance Buff to be more effective while incapacitated, be sure to equip the General Tank Handler Buff, as it makes for a great buff combo alongside it.
    • In general, given tanks that aggro you while you're incapacitated, you can equip the |V| Crush Resistance Buff to give yourself boosted survivability against them before you need to be revived. The buff works better against tanks that deal low punch damage because of the amount of defense you'll gain in relation to your incap health, with more punch damage giving less defense to work with.

    Benefit in Buff Sets:
    Gives -1 to -50% reduced damage taken from tanks while incapacitated depending on current HP. Higher current incap HP equals less damage taken.
    26. |V| Acid neutralizer

On barrier depletion it explodes, freezing Commons/Specials and slowing Tanks in 200 range for 2 seconds. If you are frozen, the suit instantly creates a Barrier with double health.

    Tips on Buff Usage:
    • The Frost Suit is a niche defensive Buff on COOP that can be used to help with progression when Spitters and other SI may slow movement speed a lot. It does have use during the Freezing Tank/Santa Tank fights if you need a buff to avoid being frozen, but there are better buffs out there that can help you to avoid that status altogether.

    Benefit in Buff Sets:
    Gives -10% max slow and +5% defense. Each second alive, the suit generates charge. At 100% charge, create a barrier which absorbs 50% damage and triples buff passives. Barrier explodes when depleted, freezing CI/SI and slows Tanks in 200 range for 2s. If frozen, the suit creates a Barrier with x2 HP.

    Event Requirement:
    • Get it for X Christmas Cookies from the Event Market within !event. Only during the Christmas 2021 event.

    Description:
    Grants 5 stacks of Active Recuperation. Every 300 damage taken, one stack is consumed to heal you for 300 HP. Stacks recharge every 60 seconds. With no stacks, the first recharge will give 2 stacks and every 300 damage taken lowers cooldown 5 seconds. Being downed will recharge 1 stack. Being killed will recharge 2 stacks. Heal an extra 100 HP upon being revived or resuscitated.

    Tips on Buff Usage:
    • When in COOP/Scenario, especially with fighting Tanks or if a Guard/Controller player, this buff can be helpful with a short boost of survivability given for damage taken. If you want to save your stacks for the big damage, don't go getting involved with the infected too much until you need to take action.
