    8. Against the Odds (Defensive Buffs #9)

    Buff Requirements:
    Cost: $52,650 Cash
    FR-Pills Cost: 135
    Required Level: 180


    Description:
    If you are the last survivor alive in finale/survival maps you become immune to all slows, stuns, staggers, flinging or Special Infected pins, and your defense will be maxed. While performing a use action, no infected sources will be able to interrupt it. Common Infected in the vicinity will also be instantly killed.

    Tips on Buff Usage:
    • If you are the last survivor and need to try getting to the saferoom or saving the other survivors, having the Against the Odds Buff equipped can be useful in stopping most CC from affecting you.

    Benefit in Buff Sets:
    If you are the last survivor alive in finale/survival maps, you become immune to all slows, stuns, staggers, flinging or Special Infected pins and have maximum defense. Cannot be interrupted while performing any use action. Common Infected nearby will be instantly killed.

    9. |E| Ex-Infected Mourn* (Defensive Buffs #25) <top>

    Event Requirements:
    Obtain it from the White Chocolate Box for 15 Cupid Tokens, letting you get the buff at random from the list of buffs you don't yet have. Only during the Halloween 2018 event.

    Description:
    After being released from a Special Infected trapping you, you will be unable to be trapped by the same class of Special Infected. The effect lasts until a different class traps you, which you will then be immune to that class instead.

    Tips on Buff Usage:
    • When released from any special infected, you become immune to crowd control from that infected with the Ex-Infected Mourn Buff, as long as you don't get trapped and released by another type of special infected.

    Benefit in Buff Sets:
    On being released from special infected, become unable to be trapped by same class of special infected. Effect lasts until different class of special infected traps you.

    10. Vital Spirit (Defensive Buffs #25)

    Buff Requirements:
    Cost: $4,725 Cash
    FR-Pills Cost: 5 FR-Pills
    Required Level: 90


    Description:
    Upon being revived, 20% of the total health you receive is gained as bonus permanent health.

    Tips on Buff Usage:
    • When you are revived after having been incapacitated, the bonus permanent health gained with the Vital Spirit Buff will become useful in keeping your health up.

    Benefit in Buff Sets:
    On being revived, 20% of total HP received becomes bonus permanent HP.

    11. Shoving Expert+ (Ability Buffs #1) <top>

    Buff Requirements:
    Cost: $225 Cash
    Required Level: 20


    Description:
    This buff will grant additional resistance to your arms and will disable the shoving penalty as survivor.

    Tips on Buff Usage:
    • The Shoving Expert Buff is a great buff to be using when you need to be shoving frequently. Use it in situations where you will need to shove something out of a survivor or to shove them out of Glutton or Supreme Glutton Tanks when they have been eaten.

    Benefit in Buff Sets:
    Disables shove penalties.

    Buff Enhancements that can be applied to this buff:
    • Strong Arm: Allows you to shove chargers to stagger them. +1% increased chance to free someone from Glutton belly.

    12. Agitated Rescue (Ability Buffs #3)

    Buff Requirements:
    Cost: $7,200 Cash
    FR-Pills Cost: 10 FR-Pills
    Required Level: 140


    Description:
    In finales, when the rescue vehicle has arrived you will be able to run through common infected, and will also be immune to most slow effects.
    <Doesn't resist slow effects from survivor buffs or status effects>


    Tips on Buff Usage:
    • In VS, when you need to get to the rescue vehicle with tanks and or other special infected on your tail, use the Agitated Rescue Buff to help prevent any slow downs from most infected effects.

    Benefit in Buff Sets:
    On rescue vehicle arrival, able to run through common infected and become immune to most slow effects.

    13. |Q| Hunterized (Ability Buffs #5) <top>

    Quest Requirements:

    You can get the |Q| Hunterized Buff as a quest reward from the supply boxes after completing the Hunterized Quest (Level 135) within Celine's Questline.

    Description:

    Enables you to jump like a hunter after killing 20 special infected during the round. You don't need to crouch to jump and you can temporarily disable it by pressing the walk key (SHIFT) twice.
    <You don't take fall damage except in forbidden areas>
    <Cooperative servers only>


    Tips on Buff Usage:

    • If you need to get to higher areas fast, use the Hunterized Buff and crouch to jump up to where you need to go.

    Benefit in Buff Sets:

    After killing 20 special infected, you're able to jump like a hunter for the rest of the round. No crouch needed to jump. Can be temporarily disabled by pressing the <SHIFT> key twice.

    14. Motivator (Ability Buffs #18)

    Buff Requirements:
    Cost: $31,500 Cash
    FR-Pills Cost: 125 FR-Pills
    Required Level: 150


    Description:
    Gives you the ability to shove a fellow survivor that is at least 50 levels below your level to increase their movement speed by 20% for 20 seconds.
    <30 second cooldown>
    <Cannot motivate whilst inside a saferoom>


    Tips on Buff Usage:
    • When you know that a survivor is falling behind the rest of the group, it is a good idea to go back to that player and use the Motivator Buff on them to speed things up for them.

    Benefit in Buff Sets:
    You can shove a fellow survivor 50 levels below your level to give them +20% movement speed for 20 seconds.
