    Event Requirements:
    Get it for 125 Fruity Candies from the Fruity Candy Market within !event. Only during the Halloween 2017, 2018 and 2019 events. Get it for 25 Summer Tokens from the Summer Market within !event. Only during the Summer 2020 event.

    Description:

    Increases max health by 1000, but if an ally dies to the infected you take (400 - their level) damage. The damage scales on your current HP % (e.g. with 50% HP, damage is halved) and is nullified below 25% HP. Every non-bot survivor you resuscitate heals you for 100 HP and blocks Promise damage for 10 seconds.

    Tips on Buff Usage:
    • The Promise Buff increases your maximum HP by 1,000 but makes you take damage every time someone dies. It's useful in cases where you need to use your defibrillator on a large number of dead survivors nearby, but less useful when there's less to defib. Keep these things in mind when using the buff.

    Benefit in Buff Sets:

    Gain +1,000 increased max HP. If any survivor dies to the infected, you take (400 - their level) damage. This damage scales on current HP % and is nullified below 25% HP. Every non-bot survivor resuscitated by you heals you for +100 HP and block Promise damage for 10 seconds.

    • Pledge: You will heal 25HP every time you revive or free a non-bot survivor.

    Event Requirements:
    Get it for 100 Caramel Candies from the Caramel Candy Market within !event. Only during the Halloween 2017, 2018 and 2019 events. Get it for 20 Summer Tokens from the Summer Market within !event. Only during the Summer 2020 event.

    Description:
    After being trapped by a Special Infected for 5 seconds, your character will attempt to free themselves every 3 seconds. The chance of being released is 50% which decays by 20% upon each failed attempt. The chance resets when you are freed. While equipped, you ignore statuses that get inflicted when freed from a pin.

    Tips on Buff Usage:
    • If you have been trapped for more than 10 seconds, you have a chance to free yourself from your SI attacker every 3 seconds with the Free Spirit Buff. You can use this buff as a back up for when you run out of knives and have no other ways to save yourself.

    Benefit in Buff Sets:
    After being trapped by a special infected for 5 seconds, you'll attempt to break free every 3 seconds with a 50% chance, decaying by 20% with every failed attempt. When freed from pins, you ignore statuses inflicted and the chance resets.

    Buff Enhancements that can be applied to this buff:
    • |E| Wild Spirit: After being pinned for 5 seconds, deal 1% + 0.5% Max HP per second damage to pinner, Max: 7.5% or 200 damage. Damage/Damage Cap increased by 30% with melee weapon.

    Event Requirements:

    Description
    In the !buy menu you can choose a survivor to protect. If they take lethal damage and you are in 500 unit range, you die instead with the chosen survivor healing equal to your current HP, losing tank aggro and clearing all bad statuses. While dead from this, you gain 1 bounty each time they earn bounty. A survivor can only have 1 bodyguard but bodyguards can't have one.

    Tips on Buff Usage:
    • If you want to sacrifice yourself to save another survivor from death, use the Bodyguard Buff and make him your bodyguard. Should they die while you are nearby, you'll save their life and instead sacrifice yourself for them.

    Benefit in Buff Sets:
    You can choose a survivor to protect. If they die within 500 units, you die instead. The chosen survivor heals equal to your current HP, loses tank aggro and clears all bad statuses. While dead, you gain +1 bounty every time they earn bounty. A survivor can only have 1 bodyguard but bodyguards can't have one.

    Buff Enhancements that can be applied to this buff:
    • |E| Safekeeper: If bodyguard target is affected with a status effect over 1 second, shoving them transfers the status to you, awarding 1 bounty (2 for mutation) for each status.
      <30 second cooldown, some statuses cannot be transferred, transferred statuses cannot be blocked>

    32. |E| Pain Moderation*+ <top>

    Event Requirements:
    Get it for 125 Caramel Candies from the Caramel Candy Market within !event. Only during the Halloween 2018 and 2019 events. Get it for 25 Summer Tokens from the Summer Market within !event. Only during the Summer 2020 event.

    Description:
    If you have no temporary health when taking damage, 33% of the damage (maximum 200 HP) will be returned as temporary health. Temporary health decays slightly faster with this buff equipped.

    Tips on Buff Usage:
    • If you want to mitigate the damage taken, the Pain Moderation Buff is recommended for letting you survive while you still have temporary health to take the damage.

    Benefit in Buff Sets:
    If you have no temporary HP when taking damage, 33% of the damage (max: 200 HP) is returned as THP. THP decays slightly faster with this buff equipped.

    Buff Enhancements that can be applied to this buff:
    • |E| Pain Transfer: Upon gaining temporary health from taking damage, for 5 seconds 2% of damage dealt to Specials or Tanks will exchange temporary health into permanent health.

    33. |E| Ground Absorbent*

    Event Requirements:
    Get it for 200 Caramel Candies from the Caramel Candy Market within !event. Only during the Halloween 2019 event. Get it for 40 Summer Tokens from the Summer Market within !event. Only during the Summer 2020 event.

    Description:
    Gives 35% defense against Acid/Fire sources. Taking damage from an Acid/Fire source for 3 seconds will absorb it, removing it and for 20 seconds gives damage immunity to that type. Standing inside a type while immune gives temporary health equal to 50% damage (Max. 10/tick) and standing in it for 3 seconds will absorb it, giving permanent health equal to 250% damage (Max. 100).

    Tips on Buff Usage:
    • In specific situations such as in tank fights, you can use the |E| Ground Absorbent Buff to avoid some of the fire or acid damage that you would otherwise take while trying to take down the tank that can inflict you with acid/fire sources of damage. It can also be useful for clearing the way for defibbing any players or just having a safe area for avoiding damage.

    Benefit in Buff Sets:
    Gives -35% reduced acid/fire damage taken. Taking any acid/fire damage for 3 seconds will absorb it, removing it and gives 20 seconds damage immunity to that type. Standing in fire/acid while immune gives temporary HP equal to 50% damage (Max. 10/tick) and standing in it for 3 seconds absorbs it, giving HP equal to 250% damage (Max. 100).
