Why don't you play with a Microphone?

I use my mic too but playing on EU servers and speaking with my American accent leads to a lot of :wacko: :wacko:. At least that's what I think it causes considering the silence that follows

 

i only sometimes talk. but the reasson i dont talk is because i play in the evenings when people are sleeping lol

 

Talking on the mic is like half the fun for me.

 

Mic is a must in smaller groups. On 10vs10 its cool if one guy takes over command and gives some short instructions like: "Run" "All move now"...
e.g. Ecco is really good in this, although his russian accent.

 

I talk in english (and usually i don't shut up), and i don't care about the mistakes I make, that's how you learn. People that actually speak english as mother language always correct me and I thank for that, it's needless to get embarrassed

Yeah there is nothing to make fun of people who can't speak English properly if they don't live in a country where English language is mainly used. I would suck at speaking Spanish because people don't speak Spanish in the UK but even if people laughed at my crappy Spanish, I would join in and laugh with them because i wouldn't have anything to feel bad for. At end of the day, we're all just playing to have fun and that's what counts.

 

Lol "mother language" sounds so Russian :-)

It's "native language" in English but I almost regret correcting you since it sounds so good :-)

My Spanish is excellent and I am so cool that all my Spanish speaking friends call me "Coolero" which is Spanish for he who is cool

 

I can speak Spanish fluently as well. I never use my mic, even though I bought one. I never really cared.

In holland we say mother-language as well, (translated in dutch) ,
In english you would say mother-tongue.

For native language we say in dutch mother-language
And for homeland or native country we say father-land (like the land of our fathers)

I was speaking English and nobady answered me and I realized that my mic is out of work
So I give up speaking ^^

I got it but I just don't appreciate "asshole" humor...

My mic on my headset is stuck on mute, so haven't been able to use it untill I can afford to buy a other PC350 or PC360. Sucks a lot, used to use the mic all the time. xD

 

I go nuts when I see people typing in the middle of a crescendo event, and even more nuts when they got charged or smoked down because of it.

 

i think its anoying that alot of people have conversations about stuff that isnt related to stuff happening ingame, and alot of people are using there own language, when i know who those people are i usualy votemute them. im dutch myself but sometimes when im in the mood ill grab my mic, not for conversations but just to warn people that there is a tank comming and where it is, or when im knocked down somewhere and i need help. i think its kinda distracting if alot of people are talking through the mic, ill lose my focus on stuff that is happing in my field of view.

 

We're so pro on the VI server that we talk about 80's music while plowing through the map. You can talk about anything as long as you have a good team that is friendly with each other.

 

Its true i talk about w/e comes to mind, losing or not lol.

 

Don't forget auto-tune singing.
