Future Upgrades, Skills, Buffs and features

    @Jockey challenge
    Even as a challenge, there's a limit as to how many challenges you can do, so I doubt it would help the jockey population.

    @2nd primary weapon
    Nah, melee is far better than a second primary weapon, and provides with choice. That's a buff I would never buy let alone equip D:

    Thing is it's going to fail, not because the player is incompetent, but because the team couldn't manage properly (farming, stalling, plain noobism)

    @claustrophobia
    Not sure if you can define room surface in the game whilst modding, but in the safe room would be nice, nonetheless. The elevator in no mercy can be hard enough most of the times, and there's no place to run faster seeing how small it is, lol.

    Common story for a zombie is, jump a human, and rape... eat the victim, so I kind of like the fact the horde jumps on the guy. Also, there's a similar buff already called Vomit Revenge

    Alright, one at a time:
    The jockey challenge is just a remake of the charger karma challenge, So all the current jockey players can be rewarded for their choice, And perhaps provide an alternative to the current karma infected like the boomer and charger.

    About melee weapon:
    I also think melee>primary weapon, But it just provides an opportunity for an alternative weapon you can change to for close proximity and long proximity, all of that without even reloading

    Claustrophobia:
    I agree, it might not be programmable.
    This is a buff that comes with a price, Indoors you will perform better but will receive more damage, If you know you are good at avoiding damage, you would take it.
    EVERY action will be faster! healing,reloading,assisting,shooting,throwing,running and w/e I missed!
    It is as if you have a permanent adrenaline effect indoors which is too strong, Which is why it grants a little less than adrenaline effect AND you will receive more damage.


    The "Dash For Our Lives" challenge does seem a bit too hard, how about I lower the survivor count needed to 3, and the timer stops when ever 3 survivors reach the safe room?



    And yes, I have been inspired by vomit revenge, But sadly it only applies to the boomer, which can be killed in one shot so it wouldn't matter as much.
    The buff also has some pros and cons, If a special infected that incaps you and then runs away/incaps from a distance then it is good, it will lure commons away from you towards that special infected.
    But if it is a charger or a hunter that incaps you, You're pretty much f'd because right after the bile runs out the will attack you.
    Imagine a tank incapping you and then being covered with bile, This is just a great utility buff.

    i'm still worried nobody replied to me. basically you're gonna have to buy 65 gems for either wet skin or heat seeking rock or other similar buffs if you want them while others already have all their gem ish maxed, making for an exclusive club.

    The moment the gem feature is going to be released, I'm going to downgrade my level to 1, The benefits I get from this are too great.
    Not only will I get points at a faster rate, I will also get gems for making that sacrifice.

    Sure, I'm only lvl 44 which is not that high, But saccing exp for gems and increased points rate? Count me in!

    Bub, you missed it. I mean the Supreme Lottery going away overall is not good. This is gonna contribute exactly to making those clubs of people who are all gemmed out that much more exclusive.

    EDIT : Some people even argue, mind you, that at this rate the gems would be worth more overall then the game itself. Will someone care to dispel my allegations and put my mind at ease?

    I read your posts, And I believe these buffs/skills won't be put in the premium section simply because there are people that already have them.
    I believe the admins will think of other benefits for donors, other than making an old feature a pay2play feature.

    I, too, am against the donator exclusive feature club (Skills, buffs, upgrades).
    I rather have them get everything at an increased rate.

    I just don't understand why does it matter if the Supreme lottery is gone, If instead you will simply be using exp to get the gems O.o
    You are making it sound as if gems are gone form this game, and can only be acquired through real life purchase

    -Gems will be drop from tanks on the Coop servers.
    ^<- I just got word from ice that tank is more OP'ed then ever. Shake half the roof on no mercy? On top of all the other nonsense COOP tanks bring with them? You're telling me that's a serious method of gem acquisition?
    -Gems will randomly drop from Lv. 100+ players
    ^<- do you even think that's likely? all the former 100's are way under thanks to supreme lottery and even if they were 100+ it'd be a fiasco to kill them, and here are the things i'm talking about:

    - Killstealing
    - Inability outright to kill due to the level of your current team

    Also, as for the supreme lottery, the high rollers that will be maxed out on level practically will be using these gems to max out their gem skills, hence the other reason supreme lottery is good.

    The first tank we tried out was pretty much OP, but like any first time (and on mercy roof... that's a huge detail), we miserably failed. I do think the ground shake skill has a larger perimeter of effect, since I got blown off the roof on the extreme edge of the map, helping someone up, and the tank was somewhere else that I couldn't see.

    I found it very fun though, when there were like 3 people left, the tank kept healing it's HP back, haha, teleporting to people and punching hard like you'd smack a fly with a swatter.

    I also believe the radius of the rock explosion is bigger, or either the tank was just aiming at me everytime, but like I said, it was full of fun!... just not on the mercy rooftop

    The tank you guys are talking about is super mutated tank.


    The changelog states the gems WILL RANDOMLY drop from mutated tanks that randomly appear on the campaign.

    And once more, you ignore the experience exchange for gems, which I really don't understand why.

    It is as if it is supreme lottery, only without spending points

    ....and you're expecting to get gems from 100+ players? nobody's ever gonna be 100+ again after this. player player with his face crushed by darth vader (i parodied the liar liar pants on fire thing right there ;o)

    Alright, to make it all pretty and nice, I'll combine all my idea posts together and add a few more new ideas.
    New ideas will have a -NEW- tag attached to them

    CHALLENGES


    "A ride for honor"
    As a jockey, ride 2 survivors to their deaths (AKA KARMA RIDE!)
    "A dash for our lives"
    Complete chapter in under X minutes.
    At least 4/5 survivors MUST survive for the challenge to finish

    The version of that challenge in co-op server will be:

    "A dash for our lives"

    Complete campaign in under X minutes.
    At least 3 survivors MUST get to every safe room for the timer to continue.
    At least 4 survivors MUST get to the escape vehicle.

    "Deadly and Accurate"
    As a hunter, Achieve max pounce damage X times.


    "Succesful head humper is succesful."
    As a jockey, Achieve max pounce damage X times.

    "A lil help from my fat friend"
    As a boomer, Extinguish the tank X times.


    "Honor challenge 2.0"
    You must not get incapped at all for the whole campaign.
    at least 5 survivors must reach every safe room for he challenge to succeed


    "MVI"
    As infected, Kill 3 players and incap 10


    Jack of all trades
    Kill every type of infected except tank at least once in a round

    Jack of all kills
    Kill every type of infected except tank at least once in every single way possible (IE headshot, regular kill, decapitate, car explosion and so on) in a round

    Proof of strength -NEW-
    Charge into a car and cause an incap on a survivor 3 times.

    What's a gun? -NEW-
    Do not fire a gun for the whole round, This also counts for the pistol while incapped.

    Old fashioned -NEW-
    You are only allowed to use pistols for the whole of the round, Obviously magnum suggested.

    The "Green" Green Flu -NEW-
    Kill no one as a survivor.

    [B]PG +18 -NEW-
    [/B]
    Decapitate 50 heads.

    [COLOR=lime][U][B]The Undead Dead Survivors -NEW-

    Hyperactive Survivor -NEW-
    NEVER stop moving once you quit the safe room unless caused by a third party (Pinned, reviving).

    SURVIVORS

    Survival of the best:
    For every dead survivor in your team, you gain an extra 5 maximum hp and a slight boost to movement and attack speed.
    With every level the amount of hp gained and the boost is increased.


    Socialist:

    Survivors around the area of effect (With the survivor with the skill providing the aoe) will be healed 1 hp per 10 seconds.
    Every level increased the rate of the heal


    Claustrophobia:
    While inside a closed space, you receive more damage but gain speed to all actions.
    Closed space are places that are at least partially closed.
    A good example for a place that is inside a building but isn't a closed space is the after the elevator at map 4 in no mercy.

    Head shooter
    After every headshot you will have a certain % to receive the wasted bullet back, Head shots on special infected will also cause an adrenaline rush, giving you the adrenaline effect for a few seconds.
    Amount of seconds on the adrenaline rush increase and the % for receiving the wasted bullet rise as this is leveled up

    Weapon Arsenal
    At the start of the game, allows survivors to select a weapon that will be added at the start of the game.

    Fail proof defense
    When incapped, 25% chance to bile the infected that caused the incap. Useful to lure commons away from you when the special infected that caused the incap has ran away, Also marks the special infected just for courtesy.
    A bit more risky with infected that stay pinned on you (IE: Hunter) Because once the bile runs off the commons will start attacking you.

    Hurry up, It's raid night! -NEW-
    When you revive a friendly survivor, he gets a temporary adrenaline buff

    Black Widow -NEW-
    You deal increased damage and get damage resist to male infected.
    Damage increases with level.
    Damage resist increases with level.

    Complication Proof -NEW-
    You deal increased damage and get damage resist to female infected.
    Damage increases with level.
    Damage resist increases with level.

    Damage increases with level.

    INFECTED

    Bless of initiation:
    A general infected skill, If the survivors haven't been attacked by a special infected for the recent 10 seconds, your attack will deal 5% more damage (The damage increase comes in increased pin damage, increased spitter damage and increased bile duration)
    Effect increases with level.
    The buff does not stack with itself

    Kaboomer:
    Boomer explosion now also causes damage in an aoe circle, with the center of the circle receiving most damage

    Parasitic infection:
    As a hunter, your pounces daze the survivors, slowing every action for a short time (after the release from pin) the slow is increased the longer you stay on the survivor.

    Bloody Hands:
    The Jockey's hands are now bloody, and riding on a survivor for at least 4 seconds will fill his screen with blood, temporarily preventing vision.
    Each level decreases the vision for the survivor and decreases the time needed before the screen is covered with blood

    Feast:

    As any special infected, you are able to feast on dead bodies to regenerate health.
    The longer you stay on the body, the more health you regenerate.
    You regenerate x3 faster from special infected bodies, and x10 faster from survivor bodies.
    I believe 2 hp per second for commons is decent.

    Super Special Infected
    When you spawn as a special infected, 10% chance to spawn as a super special infected, having 33% increased stats and 33% decreased durations on abilities, But you will give out 33% more rewards to survivors and have a 10% chance to spawn a medkit on death (This means 1 out of a 100 special infected spawns will drop a medkit on death)
    If a tank becomes a super special infected, he instead has 20% increased stats and will drop a random toaster and a medkit on death 100% chance.

    Mutated Common Infected
    As a boomer, You are able to select one common infected before puking, His damage will be increased until he dies.
    Recharges with puke.
    Damage increases with level, up to 50 damage per hit

    Meat shield -NEW-
    As a charger, Your massive right hand is a bit more "meaty" and can take a heavy punishment.
    Whenever an attack hits the charger, there is a little chance his arm will absorb the damage.
    100% when he is hit in the arm.

    Leveling this up will slightly increase the chances for absorbing the damage when not hit in the arm, while also reducing the damage caused the higher level it is up to 99%

    Any aoe damage caused to charger DOES NOT count as hit in the arm, rather the body


    Smoking Hot -NEW-
    As a smoker, Being on fire no longer hurts you, rather provides you a small hp boost to regen and increases your smoke cloud powers.
    Also provides a small aoe fire damage around the smoker to nearby survivors.

    Every upgrade increases regen granted by skill and your cloud+fire damage


    Smarter than you think -NEW-
    As a charger, If a survivor tried to get close to you while you are pummeling a survivor, 50% for the charger to pummel the survivor onto the other survivor, causing damage and knockback to coming survivors.

    Hunter Instincts -NEW-
    Whenever the hunter is in a dark place, His visibility and the sound he causes decerase.
    The higher the level, the harder it is to notice the hunter.

    I have a question regarding Karma Ride. How does it gonna work? I mean you cant ride a survival to death. Jockey leaves the survival, when he is incapped, then how are we gonna complete that challenge. Maybe incapp them and leave them to die?

    You can also jump off roofs/high heights with the survivor, causing death.
