When did you find out about Marvelous Gaming?

    found MG through looking for 10v10 VS servers for practice at early-mid 2012. Joined the PR server, got my ass kicked. Joined again, got my ass kicked again. Started playing more regularly after getting hooked on the levelling aspect and wanting to reach the high levels. Stuck around because of friendly bastards like erik/treefifty/longjohn/skaank/trainspotting who were funny as fuck in VS!

    PR mod kept me around for curiosity, the people kept me here for good.

    i have like 4 months playing on mg servers, why, well, wont lie u, left 4 dead 2 comunity isnt the best, i was kicked from 6 or 7 servers at start for being new, and i was about drop the game when found mg servers, and im still here, waiting for l4d3 .
    thanks to mg staff for allow low lvl (newbies) to play on mg.

    Kicking for being a newcommer is strictly against the rules, everyone has the right to play no matter what level you are. Everyone who kicks someone for just being lowlevel should be punished, this just lowers our reputation and makes new players leave who could have continued playing and have fun just as everyone else. Luckily this doesn't seem to occur that often anymore.

    I believe he was most likely talking about being kicked from vanilla games, vanilla is a whole different ball game and the players there generally arent very forgiving towards noobs lol, all it takes is one noob on the team and the games lost so if you dont really know what your doing or mess up you can expect to get votekicked pretty fast unfortunately. That being said you are right, we dont approve of that kind of thing at mg....just look at erik that noob still manages to play without getting votekicked

    aye, if you get booted from a game because of your level, bring it to the attention of admins asap and we'll take action.

    agreed on vanilla though, even if I don't play it much anymore!

    i gotta admit...

    i was thinking the same thing when i read his insights on vanilla gaming. "even i don't get votekicked and get the occasional compliment."

    Errr I was talking about how on our servers you dont get votekicked for being a noob (even though technically you cant but thats besides the point) if it wasnt for playing with me on vanilla you'd have probably got vote kicked lmao (though you did surprisingly play OK the other day before you fucked up at the tank event n got us all killed)

    i wouldn't have gotten votekicked that time
