Quest walkthrough

How many new quests have been added?

 

Just the Snooki one, although I didn't methodically go through all the NPCs, so there might be more. I was able to accept the quest, also there were radios, TVs etc in Hard Rain 1.

the first quest darwin friend 1 looks unfinished, more information regrading which map needs to be added.
the second quest, i've never seen those items, and the reward looks amazing!

 

Darwin quest is old but has been modified .. Old one had, kill 200 infected in a specific area, new one has 20 infected..

 

actually it used to be kill 350 infected on dead air, which never worked. But you're right it is an old quest which was modified, so its a new quest now.

the quest needs to be edited though, not knowing which map you need to kill those 20 infected, not sure how it can be finished.
Although i'm more interested in that second quest, the reward looks promising but the items needed is puzzling.
my guess special tanks will be dropping them.

 

I haven't read what the reward was but i don't think we're supposed to know the location, we have to find it ourself like there was a previous quest where we had to kill certain amount of CI in parish 1st map (near the garage) or maybe the location of that quest was told, can't remember now :wacko2:

 

yes we have quest on parish which you need to kill X amount of infected but the problem with the new one we have no idea which map we have to kill those 20 infected. Without knowing which map, and it says it requires "specified area", it might be a problem.

So the 350 infected on dead air is fixed now? It says between a parking lot and an airport. (But I tried everywhere and still not fixed.) By the way, The join forces 1 is going to be very hard to do now that the servers are on expert. The reward should be greater I think.

 

I completed it by surviving Helm's Deep too!

Maybe Gandalf hands out six-packs for a reward .....

Location for the Darwin's Friends quest is the 'sky bridge' at the end of Dead Air 3.It's tough to complete because CI don't seem to spawn around that area ... View attachment 1556

 

i finished darwin friend 1 some days ago with steph. Its location on dead air 3rd map across from the entrance of the parking lot.

the way I finished the quest, gotten myself incap then zombies just stormed me. finished the quest within few seconds. other smiple way is buying lots of vomit jars.

Wait, so Long which is the exact location? I tried the deadair 3rd map, parking lot on upper floor, next to the stairs but it still said 0/20 so maybe u can take a screenshot of the exact location and post it here.

 

Take a closer look at my screenshot, you can see that it is "In Location!". You will find the same thing when you are actually on the bridge as well. Longjohn clearly had the better strategy to get the kills. The location I was standing when I took the screenshot is just before you enter the parking structure. Next time I will try from there, instead of going up.

that is the location. Its right between the two bags of suitcases, stand in the middle.

regrading quest which requires typing !withness

i've just completed the quest. You have to be looking at the shaman, be at close distance and type !withness.
the way I did it, waited till the shaman was dying, came close to him and typed it.

if anybody knows how to finish darwin friend 2, post some ideas.

 

What quest is this with Shaman?

 

It's Sara's .. Can't remember which one ..

 

it was called something tank knowledge 1 and 2.

the first quest requires you find a shaman, the second requires a knight. Be at close range, and type !withness. After typing that you should see some sort of message, and it takes 5 or so seconds till you see second message saying you completed the quest.
