You know the actual JB is unthetered, which means every time you switch your phone off (really off), you have to JB it again.

    ADD

I just read, the thetered JB for 5.01 will be released next Week.

U mean the current jailbreak is tethered (requires the phone to be connect to the pc), yeah i found the video of it but i'd prefer untethered really.

I thought none of the A5 devices could be jailbroken right now

At this moment none of the A5 devices of Apple can be Jailbroken via untethered right now ( Including the iPad 2 that was launch on March )
Consider following some jailbreak developers like MuscleNerd on Twitter. That way you'll know when a 4S JB is out.
I would recommend you this website TipB or 9to5mac, those are blogs 100% secure, they have a lot of tutorial, downloads, skin, cases and accesories.

Also @pod2g said this yesterday :
"I made a step today for the A5. With some luck we could expect a release in a week."

    Hope i helped :)

I thought the only thing that did was break your contract with Apple, so they won't help you if you break your phone.

Yep all it does is completely void the warranty so if it fucks up at all your basically screwed unless you can get someone other than apple to repair it.....forget the iphone anyway its all about my new blackberry bold 9900 :becky:

You can always do a back up of the phone before jailbreaking it as it was in original state and if something goes wrong then do a restore.

Edit: Dave, the problem with blackberry is that they have really small buttons which is ok for peope with thin fingers or someone who has been using blackberry phones for a long time but if someone has a big hand and have never owned blackberry then it just feels like a small calculator where you have to be careful with every key u press. My mate had a blackberry and when i tried using it, i was like, dude what the hell is this :wacko2:

I mean if something goes wrong with it in a physical technical sense and its been jailbroken apple wont touch it nor will you get refunded, only option is to either fix it yourself or get like a phone shop to do it or summin.

Meh the keys on mine are about as big as an iphone virtual keypad.....the keyboard on BB's are one of the main selling points of the phone...especially on this bold 9900, ive never used a better keypad in my life, obviously people have their preferences but i found it tediously annoying typing out texts on an iphone...could never do it as fast as i wanted without making errors.....texting on this BB is flawless, love it! only fault ive got with it is the battery life...its SHIT, lasts about a day with moderate to high usage lol pathetic |:(

Yeah touch screen phones are not the best for texting but on this u can just use the voice feature to write the text. I haven't seen the 9900 so I'm not sure about the key size but the BB which my mate had did have small keys but things do vary on different phones. To be honest, the only I bought 4S was coz of its name which makes loads of ppl jizz when they hear iPhone but I'm not even a big fan of it, any half decent phone would do me

I agree I loved my Bold 9000, you could type so fast on it. Typing on my Galaxy Note touch sucks even with the 5.3" screen and I have yet to find a good auto correcter, they don't exist.

However I can never go back to Blackberry now, so much apps for Android I would be missing.

Is cool the QWERTY keyboard on a Blackberry, but in Panama everyone (that have money and can pay) is switching for Android or iPhone, blackberry is already dead and that App World... prefer to not talk about it lol.
The only thing that can make RIM go back is BBX 10 like RIM call it "The Year of BBX10" but it will be launched on December 2012 lol.

    I am happy with my 4S :D

Take care with them, not all are safety and there are somes forums that makes you pay for nothing.

Blackberrys dead? not where i live bud, im not really into all that fashionable bullshit when it comes to phones (like raised :P) but id say a blackberrys probably considered equally as "fashionable" as an iphone around here....theres more kids and the genral younger population with BB's mainly because of their social applications with BBM, take the recent riots here in the UK for example.....most of that was orchestrated through BBM lmao...thats why they took it down for a while, crazy.

Thats the main reason why i chose a BB....because of BBM, so many girls have BB's n it just makes it ridiculously easy to start talking to em :becky: so much smoother to ask for a BBM PIN than a phone number hahaha. That being said yes their apps are complete and utter shite but lets be honest...who REALLY needs apps when you've got a BBM contact list full of girls....not me thankyou lol.
