Announcing Downtime / Maintenance

Hi all,

I need to move the web -and database server to a new system, which means MG will have some global downtime soon. Probably tomorrow or the day after that.

I will try to do most of the work in the mornings when there is not a lot of traffic on the gameservers, however I need to update DNS as well so it can take up to 12 hours before those changes are synced to all DNS servers worldwide. This won't affect the gameservers but it does affect the website.

I'll keep you updated on the progress.

 

That's not very useful since every link you click on will still point you to mgftw.com

 

You can adjust your hosts-file btw I'll post the IP once the move starts.

Hey man, sorry I'm so busy at the moment. I will respond to them later.

 

Ok so, forum, store, bugs and Wiki have been moved to the new server.

Stats are still working on the old server, however that DB needs to be moved as well, so currently the stats are still counting only the website doesn't work. This will be fixed tomorrow.

 

This is also the same for sourcebans btw.
