I'm currently setting up a grow - bubbleponics,it's almost ready to go but I would like some advice on things to watch out for(root rot and the like) and maybe some tips on how to get the most out of it (:

The fuck is bubbleponics lol...i kno of hydroponics but bubbleponics im guessin its like a hydroponic system with bubbles? lol. Hydroponics can be tricky...if your gunna do it u gotta do it right and keep a constant eye on the nutrients your feeding em and the pH levels. Im no expert but i looked into it a while ago when i grew a little, the equipment aint exactly dirt cheap either...but the benefits do outweigh the disadvantages. Just make sure you've got some decent lights... HPS or MH for the best yields =).

Ha were not junkies....nothin wrong with a little recreational smoke haha...i rarely smoke anymore anyway, after i got back from Amsterdam i toned it down big time....no matter what anyone says that shit makes you paranoid if its potent and your smoking enough of it!

 

Soil in bubblebponics? I've got clay pebbles for it, much better

 

Bubbleponics replaces soil with clay pebbles, the roots go into a reservoir full of water, with an air stone,air pump and water pump - it's a much quicker way to grow, however costs a little more to set up. I've got a 125w CFL, growing just two plants so it should be enough
I've also got PH up and down and a PH tester, so that shouldn't be a problem. (:

We did talk to a lot of the locals and probably went to over 10 different coffee shops some of the more touristy commercial ones and some smaller hidden away ones...really friendly people =) we just went on a mad one because it was my birthday and we were in Amsterdam haha (the majority of the paranoia came from mixing shrooms with the weed anyway which we were specifically told not to do but did anyway....was fkin stupid and ill never do it again lol...bad experience!) but yea the THC content of a lot of indoor grown weed these days is ridiculous.

And pops CFL lighting isnt amazing to be honest mate, a 125w will be enough for 2 plants but dont expect massive yields depending on what strain you bought (just out of curiousity what strain did u buy, or havent u bought em yet?) bubbleponics/hydroponics is a more efficient way of growing though so who knows but HiD lighting is far better.

 

Yeah, I had no idea what the hell Bubbleponics was. Clearly it is not a common word because Google Chrome does not recognize it as a real word. I'm telling you though, you should just do it in dirt and use Miracle Gro. That stuff makes plants 2X larger than it would in regular dirt. Sure, it is not as quick, but you will get more in the end, which the the whole point, right? And two plants? Idk about that...

Oh, and why the hell are clay pebbles better for growing than dirt? It's not like you are growing a cactus or anything...lol

 

yea haha was a bad trip...bad enough to put me off em for life....their probably alright if you dont mix em with anythin but fk that anyway ill never take em again haha....taste like shit aswel lol. Think it was literally like a couple of months after we went that they illegalized em...tbh we just found it hilarious that you could walk in n buy em over the counter haha their a class A drug here....i take it from that sad face you've tried em before marvel?

Its better because the nutrients are fed directly into the roots through the water....its a much more efficient process than retrieving the nutrients from soil....im not 100% on this but the clay pebbles are just used to support the plant plus they retain water and oxygen really well if im not mistaken.

Oh and miracle grow isnt great for growing weed....that stuff already contains a shit load of fertilizer thats incorrectly proportioned to grow weed...far better off adding it yourself

Davzee has it pretty much correct, they retain water a hell of a lot better than soil ever could. Soil would just get waterlogged and kill the plants.

I've got different nutrients for different stages of the grow, of course i'll use some which boost flowering when it gets to that stage.

Two plants because it's my first bubbleponics grow, want to make sure i've got everything correct before growing more plants, thus spending more money.

 

I went with a CFL due to low heat - stealth is everything when growing, right?
I've got Big Buddha blue cheese, gotta love the cheese ;D
