Bad version? Server rejected connection?

I have all updates correct as to the current server build (ArmA and DayZ) and I have whitelisted but I cannot connect as I get the message; (Bad version, server rejected connection). Can anyone provide an insight to why this is happening and possibly a solution? Thanks

 

I had this issue I just reinstalled the patches with the dayz commander and it seemed to work, I was able to connect and play.

 

Use DayZ commander to update your Arma. Downlaod the correct map (version 2.0, taviana.com).

 

I did all of the above yet still I cannot connect :/

 

I had exactly the same problem. Here's how I fixed it:

1.) Go to the Arma 2 OA beta folder. Usually located here
C:\Program Files\Steam\SteamApps\common\Arma 2 Operation Arrowhead\Expansion\beta

2.) Copy the "arma2oa.exe" and "arma2oaserver.exe" from your beta folder into the Arma 2 OA main folder and overwrite the main folder files.

3.) Play the game.
