Controls for Infected (Long Version)

This is the Long Version of the controls used for the infected. If you want the shorter version, then click Back to Main Guide Page to access the link to the Marvelous Gaming Controls page. It contains the same thing but with more of a short description of what the button does. It is for those who just want to refresh their memory on the controls and already know the buffs well.

Fly as a Ghost Special Infected
Hold R to fly.

Mercy Tongue Skill (Smoker Skill) <top>
Description: Allows you to voluntarily release your victim. Maximum Reduced Delay: 0s.
Bitch Slap Skill (Boomer Skill)
Description: Allows you to deal a powerful slap towards survivors. Cooldown: 20 seconds (10 with Assassin Class Role active for the Boomer)
Hunter Repounce Skill (Hunter Skill)
Description: Allows you to leave your current victim, and immediately pounce. Maximum Reduced Delay: 0s.
Mercy Hammer (Charger Skill) <top>
Description: Allows you to voluntarily release your victim. Maximum Reduced Delay: 0s.
Press Mouse 2 (right-click).
(Default Melee Attack Button)
For Boomers: You can only press the button when the skill is not on cooldown.
For Pinning Special Infected: You can press the button only when you are pinning a victim.
Hunter: Hold CTRL + Press Mouse 1 (left-click).
(Default Crouch Button) (Default Pounce Button)

Knife Deflection Buff <top>
Description: Allows you to counter a survivors knife use. You have 0.4s of counter stance time when the button gets pressed.
Press Mouse 3. You can press the button again, given the conditions have been met.
(Default ZOOM Button)

Acid Boomer Trap and Bloody Boomer Trap Buffs <top>
Description: Allows you to leave a trap in the floor that will explode when survivors get near.
Pummel Incapped Buff
Description: You can grab incapped survivors as a charger and start pummeling them.
Hold CTRL and aim down at the floor.
(Default Crouch Button)
Then Press Mouse 2 (right-click) to activate the respective buff effect.
(Default Melee Attack Button)
For Acid Boomer Trap and Bloody Boomer Trap Buffs: You must keep your distance from the survivors. Limit: 1 trap per spawn and can have up to 3 placed. Traps disappear doing nothing after 45 seconds.
For Pummel Incapped Buff: You must be within range of the incapacitated survivor.

Escape Leap Buff <top>
Description: Allows you to leap as a hunter without needing to crouch. You can't pounce survivors with this leap.
Press Mouse 1 (left-click). You can press the button only 6 times during your current spawn.
(Default Hold CTRL + Mouse 1 Pounce Button)

Mind Controlled Rock Buff <top>
Description: Your tank's rock will chase survivors, just like a missile.
Hold R to let the rock chase survivors like a missile.
