What is Rare Skill kill?

how do i get this? seems like certain players have this and not others?

That also happened to me with the same player ... RON so long update is due to functioning as anti-charger .. PD: I would like to know how to equip ..

 

I think that is the "Charge Block Skill" wich you get when you finish the darwin quest.
I also have been trying to end the quest at the final map from airport, so far it didn't work.
Also i've read stories from players who got it by accident not from the darwin quest.

 

Is the Charge Block Skill like Burial_ground said. This guy just picked it up from a blue tv, maybe spawned by some root admin, idk if infected can drop those kind of items. Some months ago i found a grade enhacer advanced from a bule tv, and a guy called Lazzer found a paranoia buff in coop, was dropped just in front of us then he picked it up. Those tvs looks like hd ticked so if you see one be sure to grab it maybe is an interesting stuff :p

 

the rare skill is sort of a unlimited usage per round ... I remember smoking 3x and was rare skill killed and then someone else smoked him and was rare killed a few times ... can an admin confirmed this unlimited rare skills?

Ecco started a thread called Quest Walkthrough.

I tallied up a bunch of (non) results. Turns out 1 guy siad he got it.

No one else got it in COOP.

JUST YESTERDAY, someoen reported that, while at the gas line (start finale) in Dead Air, in PRVS******, it said it was done.

I believe it's just bugged. Lots of people working on it.

A Rare Skill Kill is this:

Everyone knows one guy who has it in PR-VS. Well, because of the "Pure Charger Claw" Quest Item, and some testing, and also allowances to try new stuff out....

He has it.

For example, he has used both knives.

I charge him in PR-VS. I get killed due to a "Rare Skill" b/c, per description, "it severs a nerve on your charger."

I.E. Don't charge people who have that or generate that message. Hope this helps!

One or two gamers got a permanent "poison shield" so that witches, etc., coudln't make them green/weak?

did we can control the charge of charger with a skill from a quest?..

 

One guy, Tak, has the skill and it's unlimited use. Every single time I charge him I die instantly. I can't even pick him up with charger when he's incapped or I die. Even crazier, one time I charged a guy (not Tak) down the no mercy finale hallway and as I was charging through the survivors, my charger died cuz of Tak's rare skill. It's pretty annoying.

 

This is the quest that comes after Darwin's Friend 2, a known quest that is incomplete. It's probably that way for this reason. In Dead Air Finale, there's supposed to be a simple TV/Quest item representing an ID Badge.

If that could be completed, we could all get the "Charger Block" skill you get from picking up an old Swamp Fever 1 item, Pure Charger Claw.

This is in the same category as Poison Shield, which HonorCode dropped once in Helms Deep.

Right place, right time. Only one w/ access & probably will unless Development changes it.

Just find another way to kill him; btw if you charge him and land a successful mutation, you can complete the kill.
