    That's right, tell me which campaign is next to be done.



    I have finished Parish and Dead Center... so what is next?

    While you guys vote, I'll keep an eye on Dead Center and Parish pathing, doing minor tweaks here and there and fixing any unseen issues.

    Pathing applies to Chicago and EU PR-VS only.

    Update: COOP will never get pathing as Infected bots get stuck and cannot navigate it, making it easy for people to farm and would encourage it. [BAD]

    No Mercy by far ;3. Seems too over picked now, so having more pathing on the campaign would make it more interesting and ofc more playable :)

    By make over, it means I am re-doing the entire pathing on a map. I am also reducing the choices to 1-2 pathings a map could choose from.

    I know that, because it is played more often, No Mercy will win, but I rather think Crash Course would benefit most from a re-do. What you did to Hard Rain makes that one playable now, so why not work your hoodoo on CC? :smiley-signs013:

    Yeah, I kind of agree with Captain Obvious. Everyone will pick No Mercy, not because it needs adjusted, but because its a popularity contest.

    Why not pick a map that people don't like to play as much, to get people to start liking re-imagined maps, rather than modding a map that people want to play anyway already? I think 50% of the time there's a map vote, it's for either Dead Center or No Mercy. Those maps are just played out. |:(

    Does coop get these updates too? I saw no pathing updates last time I played.

    My pathing will never be on co-op. Infected bots cannot navigate my pathing and get stuck, thus, farming will get encouraged by this. [BAD]

    Only Chicago and EU Points Reloaded Versus will get pathing.

    I almost forgot about the nav aspect. The bots could use some AI reprogramming :P They currently rely on the nav mesh, but if they perhaps used the nav along with an algorithm like A* pathfinding, they would be so much more intelligent. Too bad modding something like that would take ages (there are so many signatures in IDA that relate to navigation).

    However, with respect to coop, if you use a linear approach to pathing, the bots will not get stuck. They only get stuck if you attempt to impede their progress. Making simple things like prop hills where the nav flow is the same will not get them stuck, and at the same time, makes the game a little more interesting.

    By the way, I can add the functionality to add dynamic (and colored) lights into the pathing system, which might help you with some of your pathing. Let me know if you are interested in the aspect of creating your own lights.
