Verbal abuse needs to be address on the L4D2 VS server

As a regular donor and player on MG servers, I decided to see if it was true about the abuse verbally that go on the L4D2 server. Most of the high ranking players are very sweet and accommodating...then there are a few who are just nasty, selfish and vulgar towards lower skilled players ..words like B..tch, fu noob and c..nt I could go on and on. One player especially his name is "smoked out loc'd out". I know players are passionate about the game (girls are too)but to abuse someone because their skill level isn't up to their standard is not what MG servers are about. He even dared and spited me for saying Ill put his abuse in the forum... he just doesn't care. They don't realize that they are turning away potential new donors who are a game or 2 of pure fun from joining MG. These type of bad players give the wrong impression to new players.

 

Thanks for your report, and I apologize for any inconvenience caused by immature players on the servers. Please take a screenshot when you catch someone verbally abusing other players. As you know, verbal abuse is against the rules and will lead to a temporary ban (around 1-3 days):

nothing really personal, many times i help low levels and they leave me to die 'cause I cover them and they nvr looked behind them anymore just keeps on running and running and ends up getting mad etc .... but feel free to call him a noob or any of the high lvl next time !!! lol such is the life of l4d

 

To set the story straight, I used the word "fuck" in a way which was not directed at any particular player, and which Danica took offense to saying something along the lines of "watch the bad language". I then proceeded to call her a "whiner", which is the only insult I used towards her. I don't know who used the terms "B..tch, fu noob and c..nt" towards her, but it certainly wasn't me. She won't be able to provide a screenshot of this as it is a figment of her imagination.

 

There is an old saying in politics and the media "The validity of the accusation means little when the seriousness of the accusation carries the most weight." Meaning that by the time the smoke clears the damage has settled in and will be long lasting. I am not taking sides on this one, I will wait for the evidence or lack of. Remember the classic case of Richard Jewel who was accused of planting a bomb in Atlanta to he could discover it making himself to be a hero. False.

Hmmm...figment of my imagination. I see you ran here fast to see what I would do didn't you. You were the one who called me "dipshit"...remember. Look I didn't post here to get anyone banned but to clean up the crap I saw written in chat from you and a few others. I will be on L4D2 VS alot with my finger on the snapshot button...SO WATCH YOUR MOUTH ..it will be recorded (I was a little to late to get your rudeness in a screenshot...I got the last words of daring me to go to the forum) but don't you worry...players like you always incriminate themselves. (you can't help it)

 

...oh and of course he's in damage control mode now...he use the word f..k in a non abusive way he...riiiigggghhht. But my task is done ...I brought attention to a problem that exist and no matter how much these verbal abusive players say ..Oh it wasn't me. It exist. If what I accomplished is to make them stop it by fear of a ban...then I am happy. (I speak for those new players who will not come back to MG) since this all is a figment of my imagination.

David, thank you for clarifying. The same goes for you. I'm happy to sort out any existing conflict. I do not see one, personally.

It appears this was a misunderstanding and a miscommunication on a bad day for one of the people involved.

We all have our opinions/views about these things, but this thread is counter-productive. Leaving active for those who posted to see this resolution.
