Unfairly banned because of Steam Name !!!!!!

    To my surprise I just got unfairly banned by Marvel (really him back and ban me!), simply by using the Steam Name in another language, the Hidden Infected server, I put a notice in the chat , when I stopped to answer a player killed me and I could not use the Chat.

    Marvel before you ban someone because of the name, find out what it means first:

    To make it easier for you: ???? (means Demon or
    Asura, which is a mythological character) is not offensive name just mean a mythological history.

    hope you remove my ban because I see no reason it has been banned and could not even defend myself because as you should know the chat is disabled when someone dies in Hidden Infected server.

    If you use names in other languages (non-english) ??is against the rules of mgftw, you still need to ban many people....

    It's not an offensive name, it's just that other players want to be able to pronounce your name.

    I asked you 5 times to change your name and you didn't so I banned you for 10 minutes. Then you changed it so it worked ;)

    I saw only 1 notice in chat and so I stopped to reply and saw another player killed me, I could not use chat, how would I respond?

    mgftw game in a long time and all the world know me by Omega, Sigma, Asura's. Now you explain to me there Some admins and regular players here that have names in Chinese or Japanese and never saw them being banned

    In Hidden Infected knowing the name of the player is fundamental. Bing (our chinese admin) has between '( )' characters (iced tears) so is not really a problem. Marvel warned you 5 times and probably trough the mic as well and the ban was really really short, as if players had votekicked you.

    Just use readable names next time, and perhaps show an alternative just as bing does.

    I did not know this rule if it is new please show me where it was written, and also check your voice chat because I was listening to other players but it does not you, and I could only see 1 message in chat and immediately the other player killed me, if it happens again try using command: /csay <message> (command native of Sourcemod) it is much more visible, and do not worry it will not be next time, I will not join the Hidden Infected if MARVEL there, if this really is the lack of competence and professionalism in the way it treats its players mgftw.

    I wasn't aware that you couldn't chat I agree that's my bad but the ban was only 10 minutes just to give you the chance to change your name. Players usually don't respond to chat or mic messages.

    I don't know how did this get personal as I really like you omega and as I was only clarifying the reason behind the short ban.

    I told you I wasn't aware myself that you couldn't use the chat so that's why I figured there was no response I'm sorry for that. This mod is new for us as well and not all of the rules have been written on paper yet.

    csay doesn't work because of the timer in the middle of the screen. The message just instantly disappears.

    Anyway if it helps you out I deleted the entire ban from the sourcebans database as well.
