Team Switching Limit?

Just wondering if this will ever be implemented again (wasn't limit 10 before?)... Alot of people use this abusively. IE spitter fails at parish bridge start, goes afk then rej0oins SI to be in front of survivors...

I think that a simple vote kick can solve the problems about rage-switching.

 

Its not just rage switching... People are starting to abuse it to get around things... Like in my first example above I noted that the bridge in the parish (map 5) at the very start a spitter can be behind the wall and just afk and return to get a charger without dying.

Or a person may !afk to let the bot die so they don't lose XP.

Also, you can't votekick donors, and I've noticed that it is mostly donors doing these type of dealies.

 

Well, you can report about this abuse.

And about the limits, I think that is not a pretty good idea.
We couldn't change teams 10 times per day.
So, if I go to Spectators because I was afk and then I come back to my team, 2 switches lost.

 

You should report the people who do these things to admins or on the forum chatbox so any admin who is online can act upon it. The donors do use the power of not getting kicked wrongly i believe, not all but there are quite a few but being a donor doesn't mean u can break the rules and get away with them, it just protects them from people who spam vote kicks so my advise to you is, report the people who don't follow the rules and the guidelines set by MG.

Also, bringing someone with MG tag in their name to actually witness the event is kinda pointless seeing as how they will stop doing it.

Well, to request an admin if one isn't in the server. Could just use steam I guess.

Also, when the 10 per day limit worked, you only used up one when you went !afk and switched back to your team, I believe.

 

Removing the ability to switch teams altogether, nothing else will fix this. Admins are futile in this situation. *raises hands in the air* Thats all I'm sayin!!

I don't think so, I think you used two. I can easily go AFK ten times in one day. I am a busy person, but try to get on as much as I can. That includes going afk many times in a day to work for a few minutes.

 

Yeah to be honest I really don't remember. But I thought it was only considered 1 to come back from AFK.

Only reason I bring this up is the fact there is a ton of abuse by not having a team switching limit there...

Here's a good one: Someone in the SI team sees a toaster they want. They switch over to survivors to grab it then quickly switch back to SI to respawn.

Lame? I think so.

 

Oh, in the brazilians mornings, when the brazilians server were with 1 or maybe 3 players, I've seen a lot of these. Such an abuse.
Anyway, I kicked a lot of players like these.

 

The criminal mind never ceases to amaze me and all the ways these people find ways to cheat. We need a Special Task Force to root out these villians. MGIA=Marvelous Gaming Intelligence Agency.

I just think people are lazy and don't want to really work for their stuff.

 

I'd be interested in such a task,, as long as there was NO IMMUNITY FOR ANYONE,,, from the authority given to me *winky* to fulfill the task.
