Tank-Killing Tactics - I require assistance!!!

Lately, I have been noticing more and more special tanks. I was most unfortunate to run into 2 shaman tanks in one scenario (one on normal mode, we lost, then one on easy mode). I haven't quite figured out how to kill these tanks as effectively as possible, so I need expert opinions on how to kill them.

So far, I gathered that for regular tanks, when you see the tank throwing a rock at YOU, you hide behind a nearby wall to protect yourself from the explosion and corrosion. If the tank is NOT throwing a rock at you, approach behind the tank and start whacking it to death. For Paranoia Tanks, I only know you can't melee the tank, and Molotov don't have much of an effect on the tank. For Shaman Tanks, all I know is stay as far back as possible and try and shoot it to death. I haven't encountered Knight Tanks yet.

Any information would be helpful. I want to win the war against overpowered yet killable tanks. Thanks in advance.

 

kill shamans is now a piece of cake , shoot , revive , defib and u will be fine. do the same whit the other special tanks. Use the m16.

Normal tanks... just melee it.

 

The simplest and most effective way = God mode (You become untouchable )

Other than that, the strategy is same for Shaman, knight & Co .. Stay as far as you can, keep throwing biles at it and shoot it to death. Teamwork is also vital so keep reviving your team mates and defib them as often as you can.

Also, if you don't know how to attack normal tanks, then you have serious problems lol. You don't even need to tell a person what to do if a rock is coming at them... just like in reality. If a huge bolder's coming what do you do?

 

I know some people that would try to use the force and send it back to where it came from. I don't think it's that obvious for everyone.
Personally I'd karate punch the rock and break it into 42 identical pieces. There are those who would lay down and believe it was just a dream, those who would want to hug it, welcome it with open arms, those who will headbutt it, etc...

I understand the bare bones of killing the tanks and what not, so I know what to do when a rock is being thrown towards me (With crazy AI accuracy ). I'm just trying to figure out if there are other RELIABLE ways of defeating these tanks. I'm lvl 83 on points reloaded, so taking on these tanks are going to be a pain until I reach lvl 105 (being able to further upgrade my upgrades and skills). This is also a thread where we can SHARE ideas on killing these god-forsaken tanks. If you have an idea, jot it down here.

Another question: Just how powerful is a knight tank? What is his ranking of powerfulness from the different types of tanks (i.e. Is he lesser or greater than a shaman tank?) What is his abilities? How can I prepare for his encounter?

 

Knight tanks are more close ranged fighters. They do more damage from with a closed circle then long ranged attacks.

Normal Tanks - These trucks have 50k hp. Strategies: Best way to handle this bro is to gang bang. Run at it with like 5 other teammates straight at him and melee like crazy. With in 30 seconds he'll be good as dead. If you fighting him along, then still dont worry. Although it might take like a minute or two, but it's still easy. When he tries to hit you, run back, and then run foward and swing. Keep doing this and it'll be easy as pie.THESE GUYS ARE NOT IMMUNE TO FIRE SO THROW A MOLO!!!
Prize: Gem depending on how many people survived, and a multi toaster.

Paranoia Tanks - These guys are tough. If your team is full of 120+ people WHO ARE SMART AND HELP / DEFIB, then peace of cake. The color of it is red. Strategies: THEY ARE IMMUNE TO FIRE SO USE BILES ON THEM SO IT'LL GET THE COMMON INFECTED OFF OF YOU AND THEY'LL ATTACK THE TANK FOR YOU!!! MAKE SURE you stay far enough that they can only reach you with a rock throw. The rocks WILL EXPLODE and have a big range and will do about 100 dmg. So go behing something.
Prize: Gem depending on how many people survived, and it will drop a multi toaster once it's dead.

Super Mutated Tank - These guys are not part of the special infected. This is a special tank. The color of it is red. Only Root Admins can spawn them. These tanks are really hard and can wipe you out in a single minute. It is immune to fire and of course, melee. Strategies: Best bet is to stay a far distance and shoot like crazy with all your teammates and bile it. If your teammates are mostly lv 120+, then you'll have a GOOD chance of winning. These tankies have 65k hp.
Prize: Around 15k points, Lucky minute (All lottoeries and crafts are boosted by 50%. EXCEPT FOR SUPREME),15 gems, and it will drop a multi toaster once it's dead.

Shaman Tanks - These guys are not part of the special infected. This is a special tank. The color of it is yellow. They randomly spawn in extreme co-op..These guys are even stronger than Super Mutated Tanks. They have 100k hp, make earthquakes by hitting incapped players, will mutate you, bile you, mind controlled rock, and all sorts of nasty skills. Strategies: Same thing. They are immune to melee (THEY'LL BREAK IT IF YOU EVEN TRY!), You should bile the shit out of them (When SI or tanks are biled, they will be purple to indicate it.) Also, only Root Admins can spawn them. And same thing again, stick with teammates. If your teammates are 120+, know how to fight, will risk helping teammates, goes back to help, and defib, then you're good to go! But it's still a slim chance of winning. BE CAREFUL OF TANK FIRE. IF TANK FIRE HITS YOU, IN LESS THAN 1SECONDS YOU'LL DIE!!!! SO DON'T EVEN BOTHER GOING NEAR THEM!!!!
Prize: 2 enhancement stones, 25k points, 30 gems, 200k exp, a multi toaster once it's dead (TANK FIRE WILL SPAWN ONCE IT'S DEAD. SO DON'T GO NEAR IT UNTIL IT'S CLEARED.) and 1 guild stone. (IF YOU'RE NOT IN A GUILD.)

Supreme Shaman Tank - These guys are not part of the special infected. This is a special tank. The color of it is white. They will randomly spawn in extreme co-op. They have 190k hp and super powerful skills. Some of it are meteor rain, poison survivors for 20 seconds, and the rest are the same as Knight Tanks, Normal Shaman Tanks, and Super Mutated Tanks. Same thing, KEEP YOUR DISTANCE! Of course, it's immune to fire, so bile the poop out of it!
Prize: 750K exp, 45k points, 100 gems, 8 enhancement stones, upgrade hammer (It can enhance ANY upgrade or skill.), grade hammer (Currently no info.) and a multi toaster once it's dead.

knight Tanks - These guys are not part of the special infected. This is a special tank. The color of it is dark blue. Only Root Admins can spawn them. These guys are like 1 out of a million chances of winning. They have about 300k hp, makes STRONGER earthquakes when hitting incapped survivors, they can bile you, they have tank fire, higher percentage of a mutation, mind controlled rock, and much more over powered skills. I have fought this tank with a full team of lv 120+ and we only got it down to 100k. Strategies:Same thing, stay a good distance from it and make sure you're not close enough to be punched. It is immune to fire, so bile the crap outta it so it'll hurt it, and get rid of the infecteds for you. You should ALWAYS be on the look out of black and white teammates, incapped teammates, and you should be defibbing like 24/7.
Prize: 450,000 exp, 30k points, 65 gems, and 5 enhancement stones.

Doesn't work, we tried with supreme knight. (Swamp Fever, map 1)
Somehow admin thought it was cheating and slayed us.


I can't figure out why..

 

The admin that spawned the tank didn't know the survivors were in godmode lol, I didn't know either so I slayed the tank, but the other admin slayed the survivors at the same time to restart the map.
