Switcher.

Yesterday, around afternoon time (GMT +8) I was on the LA VS Server playing on Blood Harvest map 1. Some people switched over from survivor to infected after we played survivor. We votekicked them and the game went on.

Today however, just a few minutes ago I went onto LA VS server again and the same guy from yesterday, TehJamsiJK, switched from Survivor to Infected again, same as before. Yesterday, while the vote was being called, he said he loves playing infected, so I doubt this will be the only time he switches.

This time however, he is already a donor and cannot be votekicked. Can someone do something about it?

Usually the kickban is 5 min, which server you talking about ?

 

I was on the Eu versus server , and we kicked a switcher , i thought the ban for 5 minutes was active but he came back seconds after we kicked him.

Are you sure he was REALLY IN ? Or just the Message " xxx joined the Server" ?

Because even you see that Message, hes blocked for 5 min. Check the players next time.

 

Normally it just says the banned person has joined but that only happens when the banned person is trying to connect to the server but he fails to do so because his steam id is banned for a whatever amount of time.

 

Here's the solution if they keep switching. Ban for a week, if they insist...perma hammer.

 

1 week just for switching is too long since half of those switchers either don't speak english or they just don't see chatbox.
Normally its warning then kick then short ban(like for 30mins to 3 hours)

 

Some people who don't "speak" English in fact hide it for whatever reason. For example, Zero was doing a vending machine run in dead air with Rage Guild. Some guy comes in and we ask to leave. We assume he does not speak English (hence Mandarin in his name), so when we kicked him, before he left he said "Why?".

Honestly lol.

 

"Why" is an easy word. Who says that he doesn't know simple English words? :biggrin1:
