Staying down when poisoned

There is alot of trouble with players picking up poisoned teammates. Which is a problem because you get revived with 1hp, a CI slaps you and down you go again.

I would like to suggest to not be able to pick up survivors while they are poisoned. Teammates would have to protect the poisoned survivors for the 45 seconds until they are well.

What do ya think?

 

Teach people CO-OP

I'm guessing the poison thing teaches people to play more cooperatively, if not a bit more smart. You can pick up a poisoned survivor and defend him and i'm guessing that would be more challenging, if not more cooperative. Also, the whole team being incapped makes the team lose on CO-OP, so people need to know when it's best to help poisoned people up. One more thing is, even though you are poisoned, you are still able to take adrenaline and get the speed effects. running on adrenaline is much faster than crawling, so again the judgement of players are tested here.

 

In general I agree Indo but today I was playing Extreme co-op, which these days is actually extreme and when the witch poisoned me I was incapped and instant revived 5 times in 10 sec. I'm guessing the guy who was doing the reviving was seeing $$$$ in front of his eyes at the moment cause I was asking him time and time again not to revive me but this kept happening till I died (we were standing in spitter goo the whole time).

Bottom line, it's a farming frenzy when taken advantage of properly and that needs to be taken care of....

 

Or when someone is boomed and doesn't know any better, just sees the outline of a body and picks you up.

 

also if you would pickup your fellow teammate next to you which isn't poisoned. you will also be picked up. so i dont think its possible. so like Striker has said. you will just have to defend your teammate

 

I would think it could be coded like when you are trying to heal yourself when an infected is on top of you. Just get an error message saying you cannot be revived in this condition.

How about if you come across a poisoned, incapped player, you crouch over them to 'defend' them.

When gameplay gets frantic, it's still pretty easy to recognise the silhouette of someone getting teabagged. If it catches on, people will quickly get the message nonverbally.

Plus, you know, an excuse to teabag someone.

 

Witches should instant-kill survivors, like in Realism mode.

 

I have been killed many times by witches with 1 hit after they have been made stronger ..

 

As well as blinding you and poisoning you, witches have a random chance of instakilling you - don't know the % chance, but I have definitely seen her drop a few people and been instakilled while in green health myself.

I think that crazy emo bitch is powerful enough at the moment - I'm actually scared of her again.

I wouldn't say i'm scared of her but yeah you have to be more careful now and you can't just walk up to her and know that few mele attacks will kill her .. You can still shoot her from a distance and yes she may poison u or blind u but there are less chances of her instant killing u that way ..

 

I now stay the heck away from her and shoot her from afar. I still people run up and melee her though.

 

Instant kill works in either of the two conditions(only tested in coop):
1. You are at or below 100 health and is struck by a witch.
2. You are struck by her while incapacitated.

Usually happens when:
1. You melee'd her and didn't have a "fast" melee weapon.
2. You were poisoned and she got lucky.
3. You are the damn main and your hero counterpart startles her and leaves her alive to make you kick the bucket.
3.1. Example, you are the main louis and another louis startles her and couldn't kill her.
4. She was in madness state and she happened to choose you as the next victim.

 

I have been Instantly killed by her few times even with 270hp :baby:

 

lol be careful yeah....i got resurrected by a teammate with him opening the door.And the door quickly closes as you guys know.And the witch come quickly to me breaking the door and killing me again with me having only one pistol and half HP at the time.witches love me

 

lol, i've never been killed by a witch above 100 HP. then again, maybe there really is level scaling in the server(just level 100 something so maybe i scale it down). also, it seems the witch does only 600 "incap" health damage at a time. managed to survive after improving my incap health.

 

I've noticed how she instantly kills me .. 1st she poisons me as she is close to me so my HP is down to +1 and then 1 hit from her and i'm dead ..

 

How do you explain a bunch of survivors getting poisoned by the witch while standing in spit, and then the spitter just kills all of them instantly?

 

lol, they were all black and white?? or maybe their lives were linked and one was black and white. (not valid explanations)
