http://forums.steampowered.com/forums/ So just like PSN and numerous other platforms, Steam seems to have been hacked as well. They don't know if billing info was compromised yet but I'd keep a close look out cause at the moment we can't even change our forum password. I'd strongly recommend changing your Steam PW if it's the same as the forum and generally that seems like a very good idea right now.
also they wouldn't get your password. as its MD5 encrypted. its easy to decrypt a MD5 if you use like a single word like "Steam" or "iamasexyguy" etc. but if you use a password with @!#$@$(!/ and letters etc. they will never get it. but ya they could get your account information like e-mailadress, first and last name, money balance on steam etc. but nothing they can really do with it
The most ppl that get their account stolen would be those who have "lame" passwords like Collector said. In my case i have a server like password (10+ characters) so there is no problem with that for me... But you never will be too carefull so i changed it again =D. -Jav
