Red sign underneath my name?

anybody know what the green or red sign is underneath your names on the forum?

its says i've had a shameless past. how does the forum know that

 

it happen when ppl click at the karma button under ur post. i approve = green point, i dont approve = red point.
but would be good to know who and why click which button, like a notification at thanks/like/agree buttons.

 

really.. how is having someone disagree with you post makes you someone with a shameless behaviour..

forum members disagree with your post, so you are marked as having a shameless behaviour.. lol

i thought its due to something bad that you did in the game..

yeah it should be notified who do it and he should leave a comment why he voted yes or no. not just for fun or cuz he like/dislike the user.

 

seriously, thats why forum members get mark with a red bar as others dislikes their post..


so i post something which maybe useful to MG but other members dislike it, they give me bad karma, i get red bar too.. lol.. how does that works? kinda irrelevant to me have such a system in the first place.

shameless behaviour should be for something that you did despicably in the game or doing despicable things in the forum..

 

I agree, it should be linked to your actual gameplay or maybe if someone has 3 or more bans then they should have it. I could go around and keep giving everyone a disprove on their posts, soon everyone will have a red bar but it won't tell the people i did it so it seems pointless to me.

 

i'm just gone karma everybody then hehe

they should switch off that red sign. makes it look pretty stupid. as it also changes everyday for me lol

 

also just checked all my posts and cant find any posts people did karma on

 

like i said its invisivle for u when someone click bad karma. either make it visible who vote what and why or remove it fully

Try clicking the karma button on one of yer own posts... It says something but most of mine noone has given me good or bad!

And can you get more than one red bar?

 

I found out that you can actually check which people have gave you good or bad karma and for which posts. click on the setting on the top and it will show the most recent good or bad karmas you have received from the people. I just disabled mine coz some people gave me bad karma for no reason at all..

 

Well, you can find out comments/rep left by going to http://mgftw.com/usercp.php and scrolling all the way down to "Latest Reputation Received."

Now linking the forum to the game, although possible, is just too much work. I have no time anymore. My break is over

 

cant find "Latest Reputation Received" anywhere lol. or i must be getting blind very quickly

 

ok i found where u see the reputation click. who the hell clicked -4 at my first post at this thread? and why?!
to my question raised, i cant find the disable button O_o im blind
EDIT: how retarded is it to click at this thread -4 karma at my post and dont leave a comment why? what if i click at everyone at the forum -karma and dont leave a comment? whats that for a system?? nonsense system..
@litehawk : yeah u can see where u get - or + karma but not who clicked it.. so pretty useless

 

Blood, Go to the SETTINGS, then go the left hand side panel where it says MY SETTINGS, underneath that, there is a section called MY ACCOUNT, there click on GENERAL SETTINGS and then the second option from the top which says REPUTATION LEVEL, click on HIDE REPUTATION and that will disable the reputation bar.

P.S Blood, you can see who gave you the recent karmas, like in my case, i have recieved bad karma from Evil paul, Vishus Puss, Chris and Chocobo. Legend gave me a good karma

 

Whaaaa? When did I give you bad Karma?????

I gave you good karma yesterday to see you if you get your green bar back, but I never gave you bad Karma.

 

i figured out that only lvl 1 admins and root can see/change the reputation thing
but why is it like that? shouldnt all people see who give them bad karma? and maybe add that u must add a comment to good/bad karma or u cant vote it.
i know u have lots of work but just renember at a free day ;P
