Ranking an points

Hi there,

I was wondering how the points are calculated on the stats pages. Is there anything that earns more points than doing other things?

Also, how is the rank calculated?

I'd tend to believe every good action brings points, and team killing or shooting team mates takes points.

However, I believe killing zombies is what brings the points, and hurting the team is what removes them, or at least for the most part...

What do you mean with your question on the rank calculation ? the more the points, the higher your rank, logically.

 

Well, I wasnt sure if the amount of kills or deaths or anything like that affects what rank you are.

 

Connection time, activity, kills, deaths and your KD contribute to your points and ranking.

KD? What does that stand for?

 

KD is kill/death ratio...though i dont think that directly contributes to your actual points in the sense that the higher it is the more points you'll receive.

Basically.....killing zombies = points, killing SI = more points, incapping/killing survivors = even more points (i think) and dying or team attacking = less points.....simples

Edit: i am curious as to how the infected damage effects points though because i managed to get 10000 damage last night incapping the entire opposing team with a single spitter lol...good times yet i hardly got any points what so ever.....which brings me to another point....i think stats might not be logging properly because i was on longer than 25 minutes last night and i sure as hell got more points than 126....yet thats all its saying its logged

 

thats really helpful marvel!, cheers any word on the stats logging though because its showing my session last night as 25 minutes and 126 points when i was on for more like 2 hours and probably got around 2000 points
