Public msg or distinctive glow for poisoned survivors

We know that the new ability of the new pokemon witch to poison you is a trouble on Xtreme server (and i like it ), but the most trouble is when someone (me included) pickup someone in the middle on fire and goo where you do not see the survivor real color, sometimes it's hard to distinct them.

So to minimize this issue, I suggest to put a public msg like someone if mutated and if can be possible a different glow to notice what's going on. Like this:

So the ones who cares (really let's face it, not all of us care if ppl are poisoned of not, or read the PR msgs |) can avoid picking up ppl and try to defend them.

This way we can avoid the complaing for this. Personally I do not care, it is just a game. But there are ones that that to not take that lightly, and I've hear the complaints from a lot of ppl.

Different glow colour would be nice but some people pick up other people for the exp/points and the bounty so they don't give a damn if you live or die ..

I know I died sometimes for that and honestly I do not carfe too much, but for some new low lvl do not have a clue about it and get kicked... Also it's very helpfull for guilds.

Lol, I think you're taking Nova's place... Be sure that as soon I get out of my job, get home, play L4D2 like 2 hours I'll sleep like a baby.

 

Someone brought up the point that you can revive a close teammate and the helping hand will bring up the poisoned teammate too.

I suggest it be changed to not be able to pick up a poisoned teammate. this would slow down the progress of the team by having to protect the poisoned teammate... or leave them behind

 

I was about to say the same thing Beasty. My helping hand is maxed so I pick up a very large radius of people, which sometimes includes poisoned in that radius.

On a kind of similar topic, I'd love to see the Shammy tank fire a different color, maybe blue or green. You can never tell if ts regular Molly fire that a teammate threw down, or the instant kill Shammy fire.

 

The only thing that really gets me [pissed off] is when I am poisoned and in spitter goo and someone pickes me up the 5 times to be b and w and I die :|

That has happened multiple time

 

Maybe a solution, when you are poisened you cant picked up for a certain time, crouch only.
