Pathing PR-VS!

    So, how do people like the existing pathing on PR-VS?

    I would love to be creating new stuff and giving updates, but sadly, I do not have the proper tools to do it. I been waiting for the past... I don't know, 4 months, and still waiting for responses. :)

    Bump your post in the Root section or pvt. another one of us directly/ we can set you up there.

    More or less, pathing is love-it-or-hate-it. Dead Center 1's pathing is 100% of the fun for that map. The car mazes and stuff can be cumbersome cuz we don't have SI ladders and have no way to navigate essential parts of teh map.

    There are parts of Crash Course 1 that really make it challenging/fun. People really like the No Mercy hospital roof pathing a lot. (not the finale, the end of the hospital where you can get all the jockey/charger/smoker setups.)

    However, Dead Air 1's initial grate over the safe room prevents death slaps. Dead Air airport map has a fence around the end saferoom. You can get stuck in the door as survivor; it needs to be about 35+ units to the right.

    Otherwise, I think ppl have fun w/ the pathing.

    I never added anything to prevent death slaps there...


    Dead Air airport map has a fence around the end saferoom. You can get stuck in the door as survivor; it needs to be about 35+ units to the right.

    Ah, well, whenever I get access restored... I can fix it.

    Good deal. I talked to HonorCode yesterday. He has what it takes to get you on wheels again. We will get you pathing again.

    He was on the fly because of school. He will be back this Friday. He also requested a write-up of questions/ideas/current issues, etc., with PR. I made specifically sure to make a note to ask for your pathing server/credentials.

    You should be good to go on or before Friday,

    PS - Must have always been there (dead air) - it's a strange little (seemingly non-functional) ledge above the saferoom at the beginning of hte map. I could swear it was added. lol.

    That ledger was definitely put there in one of your last pathings long ago, I clearly remember telling Erik the very same day it was added that was a bad idea, because as he said prevents the bitch slaps and doesn't have really a good use there.
