Pathing on Versus - Suggestions, Opinions

    So, what do you all think of the pathing I have done so far on Versus? Maps that contain my pathing on:

    Dead Center - Map 1, 2, Finale.

    Dark Carnival - Map 1, 3, 4, Finale.

    Swamp Fever - Map Finale.

    Hard Rain - Map 1, 3.

    Parish - Map 1, 2.

    Passing - Map Finale

    Sacrifice - Map Finale

    No Mercy - Map 1, 2, 3, Finale.

    I don't have seen all or can't remember them so I just comment on those I know. I don't know if you have redone anything recently so excuse me if something I mentioned has allready been changed.

    Some details I remember:
    Dead center 1: I may just be stupid but it seems the karma slap doesn't work anymore on the outer ledges. Or it just has become trickier.
    While I like it that the survivors have to get out on the ledges a 2nd time now (hallway to the elevator is blocked) I don't like the fences on the ledges. DC1 IMO was allways famous becuase it's infected heaven. It's okay when it's over quick so no need to eliminate the choke points.

    Dead center 2: Generaly okay.

    Dead center finale: Nope, I don't like these at all. The fences that go all over the map prevent hunters from pouncing. One of the few L4D2 maps that has a lot of nice hunter spots. As a suvivor I never walked over these unless the other team is full of noobs. Way too dangerous.

    Dark Carnival 4: Just had a short look at it. Seems to make it a little longer. So, okay.

    Dark Carnival finale: Sry, no. The fences at the windows make it harder to get in as infected as the ladder is blocked. And the new pathing to the top of the stage has mostly been a death trap for noobs that don't know about karma charge and karma slap.

    Swamp fever finale: Not sure what to think about the busses on the street. I think I prefer it more open. The ramp leading up to the plantation house next to the ladder is nice. Good oportunity for a charge but once secured it's way better to go this way then having to climb the ladder (ladder climbing just sucks as the spitters goo even hits you when you are way up)

    Hard Rain 1: IMO too confusing.

    No Mercy: 1: I don't like the fences at the start. At least I think it's preventing from getting karma slapped (I suckt at it so I allways leave it to others) and this sucks IMO. I like the blocked path on the street though. Make the map at least a little longer.

    No Mercy Finale: The ramp is fine. Karma charge anyone? :D

    In general:
    Visualy the new pathings often just don't fit into the map. Take the big pile of boxes on dead center 2 for example. I don't lnow if this is a limitation from the engine or if this could be redone with some nicer textures.

    You do know as infected, you can press/hold R to fly as ghost? :) Remember that I do make pathing based on this somewhat.

    Landing precisely on a small spot is just not that easy. ;)

    I'm fine with everything except the Dead Center Finale and the fences, they prevent hunter pounces.

    I already fixed that finale. O:

    I just don't know what versus servers are being properly updated when I do add/update stuff. Marvel would need to look into this.
