Overpowered spitters and charger rubberbands

    Co-op spitters need their spit on cooldown. I was rubber-band lagged through a wall in 'The Sacrifice' and after I knifed the charger I was solo'd by a level 6 spitter. I couldn't get to it to kill it because of the 90% slow crap and when I was downed my magnum was useless.

    I know it's supposed to be a fuckton harder, but really, that's just uncalled for.

    People want a challenge to be hard, however they want to be able to beat this challenge without any problems. For example, they wanted PR to be more challenging, but when you made the spitters more powerful, people started to die and get incapped from them. That is what people don't like about the challenge, is that makes sense.

    I'm just going to ask... what challenge?
    (Speaking for COOP here) The second you get caught in the spit, you're bound to die. It like slows you down by 75-90%, and the spitter shoots every second, so there's no escape. It's not challenging at all. If the spitter goo slowed us down by about 50%, it would probably stop the people from complaining about them.

    What happened was people said it was too easy, which it was, and instead of progressively increasing the difficulty (unless I missed something, I was quite busy after all :(), it went to max leveled SI. So it went from extremely easy to extremely difficult, with spitters that kill the game...

    i mostly heal myself with a medickit and run through the spit to kill them :) or throw a molo

    My problem is that if you're stuck in the spitter goo and you have no health items, you die. Period. If you took off the com spitter invulnerability it would fix this problem.

    I have mixed opinions about this.

    To be honest, yes, invulnerable spitters suck. I could understand if it were a charger, since their body sizes compared to spitters are much more masculine and muscular. But with spitters, it just makes no sense. It's not like they're wearing full body armor. Just a tang-top bra and some hot-pants... Not much to work with there if you ask me.

    Before that, I still found spitters annoying even though you could shoot them. But it was a lot better... And I never really complained about it either =/.

    Personally, I feel it should be reverted. If anything, just decrease bullet damage by 50% if it's possible XD!

    Grenade launcher + explosive ammo + car explosion + gas station explosion + molotovs = spitter death?

    There is nothing wrong with the spitter.. sigh.. if u die u die.. its part of the game.. next time don't get raped by a spitter. simple rule to follow...

    The spitter is fine. If you are alone and get stuck in it you will probably die but that's what teamwork is for.

    Lets not even mention the uber slow is bugged so even if you jump higher then a table, you are flying slow mo through the air, and until you actually LAND on the table, you are taking massive damage. Even on the basic co-op server for USA ON EASY you can get killed within starting on some maps (Cold Stream, Mercy Hospital StairWay, No MErcy Starting Roof)and in levels like Dark Carnival, two of them or three can appear, and have pretty much the entire useable map covered in no time. They either need their slow gone, or their bullet proof gone. Mainly the slow since it is bugged (Matrix Jumps that still hurt you as I stated before)

    As stated before, 50% bullet damage reduction I think would be far more fair (As well as a health nerf) just, right now it seems like those badly done Oblivion mods where the creator just types 99999 for Health, stats, damage type resistence, etc, and then blames everyone else for not being able to beat it by exploiting quick save and console cheats, defendign that it is perfectly balanced.

    Also remember, low level players need to train here, and it is near impossible for them to do anything (Speaking from experience) With 5 level 100+ players, and 3 between 10-30, half on voice, the rest listening and typing, we could not get past the stage level of Dark Carnival. We did it once with 6 100+. 1 200, and a level 11 (Me) but then the server crashed before we got to move onto the next campaign. But the fact it took THAT MUCH for those high levels, it shows why I rarely see any new blood that sticks around, because they can't do much. And worse, I can kill spitters with melee, thats not a problem. It is the 3 or 4 boomer spawns, smoker teams, teleporting tank, etc, that make the spitter even more powerful then even the tank during those huge fights.
