Oculus Rift - First step towards NerveGear?

Virtual Reality suite "Oculus Rift" will be available soon..

Personaly, i will pre-order the developer prototype as soon as in 20-30 days..

Obviously this is still under developement and the consumer (mass production) version has ETA of summer 2013. However it is not clear yet, who will they team up with.. (Sony, Samsung, etc).

So far game such as Doom 3, Doom4, Hawken and many more already natively supports the Developer prototype of "Rift". However you might be able to use the prototype with other games as well.. (However best support comes with the consumer preview version).

There are also Ibex that is developing a Virtual Reality Desktop Environment for the Oculus Rift.
