New Year Celebration in Ecuador

Sharing a little of my country.

Here in Ecuador as on other few countries, we keep the tradition of making huge dolls (made of wood/paper or clothes/saw-dust)

These dolls are the representation of the year that if ending.

At the beggining of the new year (Jan 1st 12:00 am) we use to kick the doll's ass for the year that gave us (ppl that liked the year normally don't) and burn them to the ground in the middle of the street. (Read )

Also use some kind of fireworks, most of them illegal because they are made by hand (the reason why is on the second and third video)
