New US servers on their way.

Hi all,

New US servers are on their way, this time we're going to colocate in Chicago which means we bought our own US based servers rather than going for dedicated ones.

Servers are being built right now, estimated completion date is August 6th, after which they will ship to the host provider so it will probably take up to a week after that before they are online.

With the current Chicago server expiring August 2nd this means we'll have around 10 days of downtime in the US. This is not a huge issue since the current Chicago server is mostly empty anyway because of laggy gameplay so we decided not to extend it for another month and rather save a couple of hundred bucks that way.

I think you didn't read the OP? Or is trolling the only thing you do all day?

 

Basically Marvel bought physical servers, and will put them into special network that is hosted by a certain company.

I think marvel tells more about those servers once they are up.. I hope this helps you for now.
