the store does not have a lot, if you already have it all. need new interesting things, i love vending machines, it's like 1 of the only things for me to buy. whish there was other stuff like that, just a suggestion.

i would still love to see a BADASS TANK WITH HORNS, who might be able to charge survivors, charge a pack of survivors or even charge away from the group of high levels that is raping the tank, lol!!!

getting points for putting out the tank with a boomer or lighting a tank, points for throwing bile on the tank, general stuff like that,
I boom on spitters to help out, could get a little sumthin' sumthin'.
whitches could be stronger, most say they are a wast of bounty, but I love dropp'in whitches on people, it's fun.

anyway just sum idea's flowtin' around my head,

anyone else got some cool stuff they been thinking of?
    or comments on mine?
    love to here back, thx

That would be client side content and not mod-able at server side, meaning: you would need to download that model about horns and stuff, and people are not going to do it manually.

At the moment, it's legally impossible for us to transfer client side content such as maps, models and skins, to your games when you join the server without breaking valve's terms of agreements and other rules.. There is no server side downloader in l4d2 like there are in Counter Strike source for example.. And if we were to add similar feature, it we would be breaking TOS.

So for now, it's impossible. (Unless LukeM figures out a legal version from that downloader ;) )

  4. L4D2 already has code to transfer files to a user's computer. :) It's commonly referred to as a downloads table, and its speed can be enhanced with HTTP. Here's the catch. There's a major exploit with that functionality, and my hack enabled the server administrator to upload any form of content they wanted, completely bypassing the client-side data check. By using the downloads table as the upstream and the exploit as the downstream, you can essentially download and upload any file to and from a user's computer.

Hence, the downloads table and the fast http download request would work as the upstream (using valve code and valve console output), and the downstream would be my exploit. Due to a panic attack and fear of going to jail, I have shredded all my code for that hack lol. I believe valve has (accidentally) patched it after one of their updates.

Clearly there is no legal version of that lol.
