Mutation Shield

My mutation shield will not stay equipped

 

Equip it on another slot and see if it does the same.

 

The difference in PRODUCT seems to make a difference in which one "Buffs" "likes."

For the 1-month MG Store product, use slot 1 page 2.

For the other products, use slot 1 page 2, or slot 2 page 2 (which is the one Paranoia "likes.")

BTW just to clarify, those are the 2 pages of slots for your buffs I'm referring to above.

Just to clarify the products:

1 Month Mutation Shield Product (MG STORE) = Will not mutate in PR-VS. Will still mutate in PR-COOP.

1-Week Product or ANY OTHER NON-MG STORE Shield = You still have a chance of mutating in PR-VS.

 

Or use random slots,like me, and don't experience any problems.

 

I have had problems with keeping buffs equipped like this before, even when those buffs are purchased via in-game points and gems, not store buffs. The solution I used was this:

1. Equip [any] buff slot, say buff slot SLOT1, with [any intended] buff, say buff X.
2. RE-EQUIP the buff slot SLOT1 with the buff X AGAIN. This causes buff slot SLOT1 to display the EMPTY text.
3. FOR THE THIRD TIME, EQUIP the now EMPTY buff slot SLOT 1 with the buff X. It worked for me when I did this.

In prose, you can unequip buffs by selecting the same buff for any slot that already has that particular buff equipped [i.e.: reselect Buff A for a slot that already uses Buff A] -> the slot will now register as EMPTY. You can then equip any buff of your choice into this slot, and (at least in my case) not face any problems.
