MORE survival maps and even downloaded maps

I agree... but not with a lvl70 requirement... give some of us lower guys a chance

 

Hey guys.

More survival maps is being looked into. Marvel tested "The Final Cut" map with some others (Chocobo, Raised, etc) and it wasn't all that good, but I doubt it'll be the last try. So I think we can safely look forward to more of these maps.

The reason there's a level requirement, I believe (this is my pure speculation, will need confirmation), is because there is a new feature in-game to play on Helms Deep: Tickets.

Let me explain: A ticket must be used to open the door in Helms Deep, so to play the map. You buy the tickets in the store, or get a very rare drop in game (in all PR?), so it would suck if it got put to waste.

It's still in the testing for now, so things might change.

 

why do we need a ticket? i don't understand.. isn't join or auto join is enough..

now we need ticket to join the game? i dont get it

and to buy ticket to join a game is like asking for reserve slot to play the game..

I thought MG would not approve of such system.. so much radical changes..

 

No no you don't get it, the ticket is used to open the door at the start of the round, not to join the server.

1 ticket is needed alone to start the round, so once someone uses it, we can open the door and get teleported outside to start playing.

 

so you mean one of the players will be given ticket? then whats all this about buying ticket from the store.. when its just to start the game running..

If its wrong, then what happen if all the players that join has no tickets, the game won't start at all?

 

No, the ticket isn't given to a player, you buy it from the store, that's what I understood.
Or, apparently, we can get them as drops somehow somewhere. Honor showed us what they looked like, mini TVs lol.

When noone on the server has a ticket then... no game lol.

I also find it weird, but they'll probably work it out

 

well, i can forseee players start to rant soon because of this new system if there is no fix to this.. and to buy a ticket just to start the game don't make sense at all.. you want to make the game popular but you restrict it with a ticket.. totally contradict the purpose of the game then.

I think its because of the potential prizes at the end of such an event. Therefore, the server will be left running, and if someone finds a ticket, he can grab 15 mates and they can go do probably the most EXP and points rich bit of PR there is. And, if they finish, they get an enhancement stone, worth $10 in the store. The tickets are a way to limit the amount of people getting on, and keeps the exclusivity and value of the enhancement stone

 

using tickets don't help at all..

i was in game with more than 10 players.. waited for 15 mins for someone with a ticket to start the game.. none came and the players left 1 by 1.. and the rewards are the same as last time.. lesser toaster for players too..

i don't see the point for tickets..
the game was running fine without the use of tickets..

suggestion:
if MG wants to deter players from harvesting exp and points in helms deep, MG should have just programme the system to allow 8 or more players to start playing the game once the system detect that theres more than 8 players in the game..

this is better than having a ticket..

 

my suggestion was : u can buy tickets at !cp with gems or points, maybe 15 gems ( yeah i know enhancement stone cost 75, but theres no garantie that u win the HD battle) or 150000 points, idk
and are the tickets dropped at all PR servers? or still in helms deep? that would be weird xD

 

Not necessarily "low or high levels" unless lvl70 is considered the low?

 

I must say that the whole level restriction / ticket system really is discouraging with the constant rollbacks and points being lost and the hassle of having to go to the forums to specifically state what was lost ect. I understand that the servers take time money manpower ect to run but limiting the experince on multiple factors can be a turn off for someone like me, I pay premium rates i buy gems at the store and I am lower level. Maybe a premium server would be a good gateway for those types of servers.
Once a person pays for a premium service and also does a cash shop experience to stop that person from playing on the special maps can drive those type of commited players away from the servers.

Just my 2 cents please do not restrict paying customers like me any more than we are already.

 

I like the level restriction. I saw lvl 3 playing Deep Helm... c'mon a lvl 3 cant even defeat a normal tank, much worse against all those mutated tank on Deep Helm.

Normal PR servers are enough for lower level.

 

so allowing premium players to play on it is not an option? very well then how about an increased drop rate of tickets as I haven't seen one drop, trutyhfully I don't even really know what to look for.
the gating is understandable, i am a avid MMO player and understand paying for content that needs to be unlocked however when the barriers to entry are so overwealming it can be a deterant as well.'
Maybe some more option other than this way or no way will bring about a better community for everyone involved adn especially those that pay for the experience.

 

Shut it down and open it once a month. That'll show them!
