    for all people which live in germany/australia and can buy only censored version : if u want play it uncensored then let a friend from other country than germany/australia buy the game and gift it to you. then u get it uncut :)
    if u have already a cut version at ur steam account u need a new steam account.
    and i reinstalled steam before i got gifted it and deleted all steam/valve/left4dead folder from windows registry.

    There's easier way..

    1. uninstall steam
    2. delete all steam related folders.
    3. buy 1 month access to any european VPN server's like.. hidemyass.com
    4. log in to hidemyass.com and connect to swedish vpn server for example..
    5. go to steampowered.com
    6. create a new account, and mark the country "sweden" and download and install steam.
    7. keep your vpn all the time open, and via steam client, buy l4d2 with paypal.
    8. then complete payment and download the game WITH vpn enabled..
    9. when game is downloaded and updated, exit steam, and close your vpn and log back to that new account without vpn. (with australian ip).
    10. enjoy..

    My cousin did this :P

    No idea if it work anymore, but hey? it's 6.80
