Karma Charge/ smoker pull into water and surv still alive! Swamp fever bug?

This is not the first time its happened to me or anyone else, but apparently in some cases, you can be karma charged or even smoker pulled into the water on Swamp Fever (on the cable boat crossing).

now in a number of cases it happens quite often on the EU PR ranks & skills CO-OP server, where the survivors are as above, charged or smoked into the water an do not die, thus the boat will not move an nor will the surv die. going idle or afk makes no difference, hp drains to 1 hp an does not incap. spitter goo doesnt reach you into the water as its blocked by a mysterious horizontal "shield" also you cant shoot up in most places.

pain in the proverbial rear, but im supprised i cant seem to find a subject related to this aside from other maps being reported, when this is quite a common occurrence in the first level of swamp fever.

(id also like to point out that some people ive noticed, wont even take up the offer of a map change when their happy to "farm" the SI.....) just a word of warning, i take no prisoners, theres bending the rules (which im tolerant of to a mild degree!) and then theres out right breaking them.... if i see it, it'l be on my fraps, an you can guarantee its going to get reported in quick succession!

 

What you discribe is what happens even on vanila servers. We are well aware of this bug but this is a isshues on valves part not ours saddly the fact valve still tendw to neglect their game tells a story that a new game is coming apong. I applogize for your problem you and countless others have experienced but we can simply not fix it.

DAMN! i guess i was hoping for something, but since if this is a valve map making bug, bleh, itl never be fixed

Maybe it could be coded a timer and all be teleported into the Cable boat Crossing and then it could be started... or you could use a command that would teleport everyone in... idk

 

I know there are plugins for some source games, but would it be possible to add an "insta death zone" to the map? They already exist in some areas, I don't see why valve over looked this.

LoL. I remember one time was 8-9 players on the bottom of the lake. We could't start the raft, the guys was running down, they could't die, !afk didn't helped.We just stayed and spend about a hour tryin' to fix it until one smart guy remembered to restart chapter.
