When playing in versus, the high leveled spitters has Sitcky goo maxed, and when you are with jockey you try to kill the victim fast, then you go to the goo and you get slow as well and another player can kill you with melee or even the fire weapon... EVEN IF YOU ARE JUMPING... I think when you are riding a survivor as jockey and get with a sticky goo goo there must be something to cancel the effect of the Spitter's goo...

I think everybody have get in touch with this little problem...

    Thank you

But sticky goo does more damage than a jockey == more chances of quickly incapping the survivor and yes, it also increases the chance of another survivor killing you (Jockey) when your jump is slow in sticky goo ..

if you don't want the slow to affect you, then don't run into the acid. :) this is with the assumption that you would be greedy for the incap bonus. :P i mean, why else wouldn't you run into acid?? survivors that try to melee would inevitably step into the acid, and with a nice level of sticky goo they will take loads of it.

The only time this bothered me was with a smoker not a jockey. The spit slows the survivor down and his teammates can release him by shooting the tongue or meleeing him, but with a jockey I usually aim for the spit... Unless I'm aiming for a death jump, in which case it does actually suck.

yeah, survivors slow down when being dragged in acid and water. maybe the slowing effect is done similar in the way that water would usually slow survivors down. dunno the actual code, so yeah.
