help - sudden insane lag

every time i join eu vs my game is fine for a few minutes and then its full on lag from hell, even though my ping is low
my ping spikes now to 200 or more even though i used to be under 100 at all times
but this lag is like i am playing on a 900 ping, thats how bad it is
my internet provider checked my connection and said the problem isnt there
does anyone have any idea what it could be and how to fix it?

Do you have problem only on Vs Eu? Did u try to test other servers US and Asia?
And do you play other games without lag? I was think about ads, but i think ads are disabled on MG.
This if u have problem with other games online:
Doesn't need to be always problem with provider or router, it can be hardware problem also (video card) or drivers. Or as Marvel said Virus,trojan...
If u didn't fixed:
Maybe u could see your "Task Manager" to see what Processes running in your system.
(if is virus problem) ctrl+alt+delete together and go to task manager ,you can check by yourself if is some non legit program running on your pc (just google). Or go 2 start,run, type: msconfig ,go to startup (you can see what programs startin' when u start your windows.
if u think u cant fixet yourself post it image of your task manger and msconfig on forum. You can easy take picture of your screen pressing the Print Screen key on your keyboard and paste it in Paint ?program in widows.

 

sadly i dont know much about these things
but since my internet isnt the problem (did the speed tests and all) i have to assume its hardware or a virus
i will take my pc to get repaird since its been making funny noises now too
hopefully i can play again soon
