Guild member limit

Due to the recent events, I was thinking we could increase member limit to 30. This would help out all guilds and I'm sure everyone would agree with this suggestion

 

i disagree, 30 limit, then definitely all the newbie will swarm to a guild that has all the buffs and whats the point of guild war then.

Versus is already 10 vs 10.. imagine 10 overpowered GOD vs 10 players from different guild that are still trying to level up. no point for guild war then.

i would like to see the guilds achieve something though! not just extra buffs, but something we can compete for, guild wars i have heard of but nobody thinks it will arrive. maybe like a guild of the week or like a clan kills score of some sort, visable after a round? i'm not to sure? but if everybody can get such a rise over guild issues, there is an audience for some competition. like someone said,even i noticed, the forum was packed for today something i'm not sure we should have even been involved in? i know everyone is around the world and it might be hard to organize stuff but we could think of something?

maybe a VS match for a VENDING MACHINE? u all know i'm a toaster addict, lol!

an extra prize/points for killing a guild leader?
i'm sure others have ideas, i'm just thinking of stuff.

Think about it, there are several guilds with a <insert guild name here> 1, 2, & even 3. Thats 40 or 60 guild members. Would eliminate the need for a 3 if the guilds had 30 member limits. Otherwise we just use the loop hole of making another guild. So right now, the actual member limit for G?D is 40 instead of 30. If I wanted it to be 60, then I'd make a G?D 3 but really I just want a G?D 1 and nothing else. So, I actually want to decrease my member limit. Also, in your scenario, I wouldnt waste my time playing guild wars (if it ever came) against a bunch of low levels. Most guilds have enough max level players that by now, it would be even (in level, not in skill).

 

I disagree because I think the maximum number of guild members in any guild being kept at a maximum of 20 is very ideal. A guild stacked with all overpowered high level members would be favorable for guild war, to win, but new players who just joined the mg servers will feel alienated from the community. Some of the newbies I have spoken to while I was playing ingame told me they felt very left out because they barely make any friends in the community where they have no guild to go to.

Also, expect more unnecessary conflict & dispute on leadership & decision should member limit be increased as it has happened just recently. Anyone who is thinking logically & have a sense of empathy will know he or she must not humiliate others publicly, especially so when the person has contributed significantly to the community. Trust and good relationship amongst members in a guild will bring harmony & peace to the MG community. Much as MG have a zero tolerance policy on racism, I condemn any STARS members verbally or kick them out of the guild because discrimination against race, language or religion is just wrong on every level and when the light goes out, we are all the same. To live in this world, we have to learn how to settle accept our differences peacefully & coexist like brothers & sisters. What I always tell myself is never to let my bad experiences I've had with others get in the way of new relationship between me & others of different ethnic group, as they will breed ill-feelings and uneasiness in us and I might lose a bosom friend as a result.

 

Sigh .. idk how you came to this conclusion. This will be my last try at breaking it down, otherwise, I give up:

(using STARS as example)

STARS 1 -20 members
STARS 2 - 20 members
STARS 3 - 20 members

STARS - 60 MEMBERS

OR

STARS 1 - 30 MEMBERS
STARS 2 - 30 MEMBERS
____________________
STARS - 60 MEMBERS

When guild wars come (if ever), there are 60, yes SIXTY, members for you to choose from. So right now, the guild of STARS doesnt have 20 max members. STARS has 60 max members. We basically just used a loophole (creating other guilds) in order to have a higher member limit. It's really simple honestly. All I'm saying is, instead of us using the loophole, if the max members was 30, then we wouldnt need to make so many of the same guild. As for it causing more conflict, i dont see how because it would ELIMINATE the need for more leaders of more than one guild.

 

I already understood the point you are trying to come across but consolidating two sibling guild into one will entail
a high level of trust & good relationship among members of the guilds and not only the leaders themselves. Are you confident
the other guilds will not end up in your scenario? Discussion over leadership & decision-making will lead to nowhere good, most oftenly
disputes. It is very obvious as we all can see the disagreement between you and jones generated much unhappiness which gave him no choice but to leave MG on his own accord. Either way, there is a certain degree of harm resulting which is damaging to the relationship between the guild members & their leaders.

 

Ok I understand your point. But remember, no one is forcing any guild to consolidate. It's just an option should they want to.

 

@Hitsu the stuff in red please don't bring up. Thank you. It is common knowledge to be polite ingame and the forums. Also if people have a problem send them to the rules of MG. We all should show respect to our fellow man and not play them down because of their difference between you or I. In other words please do not bring up recent events when the air has been cleared. thank you.


@Hitsu. regarding the things i bolded and underlinded in your post. Ihave been trying to add the newbies into my guild. I message them I invite them and I even make apoint of showing them how to type in !gp but still they do not accept my attempt to help. Idk if they don't understand me or they are just ignoring me.

@TJ. The insert guild name 1 2 or 3 is kinda obvious. :/ I created the Umbrella Corporation to help the new members of the community play with friends and get the buffs to help them on their way lvling up. When I filled The orignial Guild up I created another and when I got that one pretty much filled I made another.

In all honesty I would like to have one giant guild or just 2. Less hassle to keep up with and less time wasted trying to lvl 3 guilds up @_@

My idea for the guilds would be to increase the lvl cap to 30 and thenwith every new lvl you can add 2 players like when you first start. I think that would fair well for Umbrella Corp, REAP,GOD,STARS, and the other multiple guild family's. The four i listed are the ones that come to mind first.

 

If it is going this way; Might as well put a BIG WARNING NOTICE:
"No other guild will grow or level up since Umbrella Corp, REAP,GOD,STARS have already monopolize the guild system. And good luck to yah if you still insist to make a guild after reading this as all noobs and newbie will definitely not join you "

How lame can the system get if this does pull through. this is why MG is dropping in ranks. the good advise are not heeded but the the more destructive ones are worship.

I am completely baffled at how you see this as bad advice. This is basically an easier way of doing what WE ARE ALREADY DOING. And is it really our fault that we've had our guilds for about a year now and therefore are "monopolizing the guild system"? Besides, you still have not acknowledged the fact that we are doing this ALREADY (as in RIGHT NOW, CURRENTLY). Those 4 guilds mentioned are increasing their member limits ALREADY. How? By making a 1, 2, 3, etc... All I'm asking is that they just increase the default member limit so we dont have to make a 1, 2, 3, or whatever. For those guilds like STARS (according to Hitsu) that dont want to consolidate for fear of chaos due to leadership issues, they can easily choose not to and go about doing it the way they've been doing it. As for new guilds, either they level or they dont but increasing the member limit for these guilds probably wont make a difference. Increasing the member limit doesnt mean you HAVE to consolidate STARS 1, 2, & 3 into STARS 1 & 2. It also doesnt mean you HAVE to add more people to the guild. All it does is give you MORE OPTIONS.

 

and why you wanna keep doing what you are doing.. to franchise your guild to no end in sight. i have acknowledged it and i am disappointed at how this guild thing is going.. no point with even having a guild war.. its pretty useless to compete anyway at the rate its going. whats the plan for future? GOD3, stars4, reap3. and GOD4 stars5 reap 4 and GOD4 and bla bla bla and so on. thats monopolizing and a collusion since you are not giving other new guild that is no way in associated with the current 4 or whichever veteran guild that want to hop in this trend of franchising their guild; the opportunity to level up.

And i know how you level up each guild by putting the newbie in the older guild that has all the buffs and the more committed and veteran players in the newly established franchised guild and repeat the same process in the next franchise which is an exploit of the guild system in my view and there should be a rule for this seeing how this has run for a year and no rules established for the guild system. This is so wrong.

 

Lol Little Brother, you don't realize that in a way, we both want the SAME THING. I DONT WANT G?D 3 or 4. I would love if there was no G?D 2, STARS 2 & 3, Umbrella 2 & 3, Reap 2 & 3, etc... If the member limit was increased to 30, guess what? I would move the rest of the players from G?D 2 to G?D 1 and terminate G?D 2. Therefore, I am WILLINGLY SACRIFICING TEN MEMBER SLOTS in order to just have ONE guild. I dont know if the others would do that, but I'm sure the others have enough inactive players that they could do the same. And after the member limits have been increased and the guilds consolidated, then sure, why not have MG make a rule for no multiple guild families.
