Giving Players an Incentive

    Hey guys! Been playing PR servers for a while and a noticed something that could be done. It is noted that reviving, healing or bringing survivors back from the dead gives a player experience, points and bounty. With the area skills(extended hand, pure pray, increased electricity), you get the benefits for only one survivor even if you somehow help the whole team up. So, i propose that there be a small bonus for at least reviving/healing/defibrillating multiple survivors at once. maybe like, 1 extra bounty for every 2 extra survivors helped. 10% more xp per survivor. as for the points, i cannot propose a way to increase it. what do you guys think?

    wouldnt that create more farming ? i allready see people healing teammates that allready have full health, just to get some xp out of it. if you increase the xp gain for helping multiple teammates it would just make matters worse i guess.

    ok, so maybe no bonus for healing teammates or picking them up from ledges, but picking incapped and returning from them from the dead can't be farmed... at least i haven't seen it happen. well, it was just an idea afterall. :)

    I think it's a good idea, even if there is a little farming going on, it's not going to make much difference, it takes forever to level it seems.

    The main problem is rushing, everyone rushes.

    well personaly i dont have anything against rushing. i play on Coop EU points reloaded most of the time, and when the round starts i go out of the saferoom and make my way towards the next saferoom, and most of the time i can see that my team is keeping up with me, but there are also some players who like to look at every coner, every room, every item and those get left behind, should the whole team who are almost at the saferoom come back for players that like to take there sweet time ? personaly i cant stand people that are slow, almost everyday i see 1-2 survivers left behind at almost the beginnen of the map while everybody else is at the end of the map.

    if the whole team is at the safehouse and some are left behind and incapt. we go back most of the time, but if they are way back at the beginning of the map that usualy results in a votekick. personaly i dont like to votekick those people out, they cant help if that they are slow i can understand that, but it does get frustrating after a while.

    Picking up incapped survivors and bringing them back from the dead is definitly no farming whatsoever!!! So I actually like the idea of getting mor XP, Points and bounty for more survivors brought back at once. Btw you only get one bounty if you heal a survivor if he didn't need it...

    As much as I would love to get extra bounty when I pick up more than one at a time, I can see this getting turned into another way to farm.
    Five people from guild X join and choose member Y to be the hero while they go stand in spit, incapping themselves and having member Y farm the points.
    Although I'm not in a guild and not sure if they get points for picking up survivors, but it's just an example.

    lol, not like the bonus for picking up multiple survivors should be big, if ever. those in a guild would most probablye be a high level and would probably have better things to do than wait for their mates to get incapped for pts. :)

    If people really planning to do this, they are not that smart because this can easily backfire on you espiacially on VS servers.

    There was/is a challenge that gives a pretty good reward. I think it is for reviving 6 teammates, and it counts all survivors that you help with the helping hand.

    One problem with this is that with witch poison now in the game, you would get players surrounding a poisoned player, waiting for them to fall when they don't actually want to be revived.

    last i checked the challenges in the control panel have been switched out for quests. well, for the bonus that i suggest to work you need to revive them with your mass-revive skill anyway. the would-be farmer would have to hope for multiple poison cases and wait for them to drop at the same time and manage to revive both of them and stuff. again, the bonus i suggest would be very small. like, 5 xp more for every survivor revived simultaneously and 1 bounty for every 2 more survivors revived simultaneously. i don't think that would be farming efficient at all. :)

    old topic but i completely agree that picking up multiple people should give more exp and points (bounty would work if it was like 1 bounty for each people that is also helped up, maybe 1 bounty for 2 extra people helped)

    When you get 95% decrease in revival time and have nothing in extended hand you can really rack up the bounty by helping people help

    ! person helps with extended hands gets 7 up at the same time and only gets 4 bounty
    another may help each person in almost no time at all (95% is almost instant revival) and gets 28 bounty (4 bounty per person right?)

    Since you can't lower extended hand people should get a bit more bounty

    Reasons this should be added....

    Survivors are at a huge disadvantage now.....
    Joining many of the versus servers it is always the Spitters that lead the infected team with their VERRRRY slow spit and buying the tanks. These spitters can be looked at as invincible as it is a real pain in the ass to take one of them down
    Now the spitters could even have ice shield???? how are the survivors supposed to fight back????

    Survivors are supposed to use teamwork to defeat the infected yet when we do work together its a bounty fest for the spitters unless we spread out and if we do spread out we get picked off...

    1 spitter and some backup can take everyone down because all the spitter needs to do is reach 45 bounty or 60 bounty and wait for the tank.

    Then the survivors have to deal with a very strong tank and as if that wasn't enough we got the spitter still spitting and more tanks are coming in

    Survivors need more upgrades and their main weapons need to be upgraded because the main weapons do less damage then the secondary weapons making them useless.

    Grenade launchers are the only main wepon that i consider is good but even that has been screwed up by ice-shield and high regeneration. Survivors need to do more damage with main weapons!!!!! Maybe make the AWP sniper do 1000~1500 damage per shot (it fires slowly so it should do a lot of damage and be able to kill most special as it is completely useless right now...)
