Forum is DoSing itself ... kinda :P

    So I guess you've put CloudFlare in front of the Web server (which is a great idea).

    Apparently it has introduced some new bugs on the forum - whenever I open it, it'll load stuff for about one minute. The same files, over and over. After about 1000 requests (according to chrome dev tools) it will stop. I've reproduced this in Chrome and Firefox, with and without an active session. It's kinda annoying and it probably puts some additional load on your web server (at least for the stuff CloudFlare isn't caching).

    I really don't know much about vBulletin, but maybe it requires some kind of configuration change when used with a reverse proxy?

    Yes, I noticed increased CPU usage on the webserver and a lot of apache processes ;)

    Can you try again now? I changed some code.

    ...this got anything to do w/ some new security measures I'm witnessing, like captcha's based on certain "words" submitted?

    I never saw that before today. Then again, could just be security updates.

    Huh, I had noticed this (on FF) and thought it was just me; seems to be fixed now anyway.
