I agree, I think it looks good. The previous films set the standard for camp. However, the stories still had an unsettlingly good blend of humor & horror. This looks like a more true-blue horror / shocker. Either way, it looks like it might turn out to be a tasteful homage to the previous 3.
Evil Dead 2 is my favourite movie ever. I think the remake is going to be pretty good, based on all the good things Sam Raimi and Bruce Campbell have said about it. But even if it sucks,I'm not going to get all pissed off and say it "ruined my favourite movie". My Evil Dead 2 bluray will still be there, unchanged.
Ah the evil dead...the film that was playing when i got my first bj, will always hold a special place in my heart The remake looks alright as far as remakes go, reminded me a little of cabin in the woods (though im sure it will be nothing like that film lol, that one surprised me)
