Erik abusing his admin powers...

Even though there is a high ping kicker on all the servers .. Erik kicked me from coop for his personal reasons.Even high ping kicker gave me no warnings.. He still kicked me off the server..Since 2 years i am playing with that ping in mg servers.. And now suddenly he started taking action against it

 

You started the map on a full server with 500 ping. You were at 483 when I asked you to go fix it. You refused. It shot up above 500 again. It's not just the ping kicker (automated) that dictates what is too high for the servers. Admins can do so if a gamer or gamers' ping is screwing up the server.

BTW, honorcode was there too, so dont' act like it's admin abuse.

Lol achilles, by now you should know that even if you are right, once you say "admin abuse", you will never be taken seriously (ironic considering that such an accusation is very serious). In the two years I've been around, I don't think a player has ever won the "admin abuse" battle, so you might as well give up. No disrespect, but I've learned that threads like these are just a waste of time.

I don't believe its admin abuse either.. i only said once you say "admin abuse" it's not taken seriously because people throw that phrase around so many times and it usually isn't admin abuse. The complaint usually is about a ban or kick (and almost always about Erik, who btw, I don't think abuses his powers, he just happens to be very very determined about making the servers good for everyone). Honestly I think there should be a section kinda like the "protest your ban" for complaints like these. That thread would be private and only viewable by the admins because I don't think stuff like this should be aired out publicly. I'd hate to be a newcomer browsing the forum and the first new post I see is "Erik abusing admin powers". If I'm the newcomer, I'm gonna be on the lookout for Erik when I'm on the servers because someone else cried "admin abuse".

 

First of all many people can back me up , but I dont want to bother them because its my personal problem.

After map change my ping goes up for a while and then settles down after few seconds. In US servers I get high ping because of the distance between the 2 countries and no I am not sharing my connection with any one..But its not the first time I played in the US server with that ping. I have been playing since 2 years and I have also attended many events thrown my erik in US coop servers. At that time he never bothered and he never kicked me.. I don't know suddenly what happened, why he started to kicking/troubling or behaving like a little kid me..Infact he would have just waited for the high ping kicker to kick me , which he knew it wont happen because my ping became stable.. He kicked me because it somehow makes him feel very happy.. You said anything below 500 ms is totally fine and source games can easily handle it, and high ping kicker is also set to the same.If you guys feel or your highly qualified professional admin erik feels that 400 or 480 ms is too much why dont you guys simply decrease the high ping kicker limit.. If you still dont see any admin abuse in it , then well and fine , i got nothing to say. Cheers

Well I meant specifically for people who wanna complain about admin abuse
