Duel Challenge

Hi , i was thinking at a buff that allows you to challenge someone in VS to a duel and at the end of map who gets the higher score should win Exp or Points etc .

 

It will be abused, two friends or guild members could say you take an higher score this round and next round, it's my turn.

Is it not a shame we live in a world where the actions of a few affect the lives of so many? One-on-one (PvP) matches work great on MMO's! Metallica has a smashing idea; but Raised has the unenviable job of seeing how most gamers -- most PEOPLE -- are; like Karl Marx' Manifesto: Awesome idea, but just cannot work here.
That does not mean ideas should not be pursued, however.

 

Yeah this is a great idea... it's just too bad it can easily be exploited :S

 

I think players will like it even without reward.Just with notification like:player A pwned player B in duel challenge!

I thought about this and had an extension to this idea - so here it is

People are randomly selected to duel each other - and randomly, so you can't abuse the system and do the same person each other. If the person leaves, they are randomly matched with another person, or if there are no other people the duel is turned off. Both players have to have been at the start of the map when it started, and cannot switch teams (opposite, but can spec+surv) otherwise the duel is cancelled.

Prizes would be based on score, like maybe the level x 5 in cash? Just an idea

 

That's too much for a prize . It's better without a reward , like Avilroad said

 

Well i guess if there was a reward, it gives a motivation to help the team... and the reward, maybe it should be somthing significant.. like...i don't know, maybe a 50% chance to craft a gem, or gain a gem?

 

I don't know what to say about the prize . I let other Admins think about that , i just came with the idea

I actually like this idea but i agree with others; it can be exploited and abused easily :\

 

Two people? Wow. Do you expect other people to just sit there and watch? This whole idea relies on heavy modding. Chucking people into spec isnt such a good idea because people just dont want to sit and watch. The duel could take ages to end. The maps are linear and it would be very easy to hit the other person.

 

What i meant with the Duel thing is just to keep an score between 2 players that are randomly selected , so basically everything is just normal ...
and when the round ends , the player with most kills win .
