CUSTOM SERVER THREAD: Anything about its campaign and anything.

I just played the custom campaign called questionable ethics.

i realise a few things in the game

1. As infected, if you were to fall somewhere that is very deep, you wont die. now the problem is how to get back up there where the survivors are. Edit, i just found out that u have to climb the pipe to go up.. lol.. but not sure about other area, like the hanging container. Edit, i just found you have to use the pipe also in the hanging container map to climb up as infected. but what bout other area?, lol, im still investigating..

so i had to spec or afk and then rejoin infected and wait for time to spawn, the whole thing is time consuming and really gives the survivor that few seconds advantage to advance in the map.

2. no vote for change map to other custom campaign.
all i see are the regular campaign that we have always been playing in l4d2.

3. the questionable bite campaign is not new or low level friendly.
there is this killer laser in chapter 4 i believe, that can kill players who does not have THE unstoppable ability. while players who have unstoppable THEY LIVE to see the saferoom.
Actually even before the killer laser part, theres this machines that keep pounding every few seconds, so players without unstoppable still die there even b4 they can live to see the killer laser.

i have not gone through other maps as i have not been able to play it yet as kept dying in questionable ethics, very challenging though.. lol.. but i really wish we can vote to change map. so that we play other custom maps.. lol

 

1. I've seen ladders in most places where there are deep pits

2. This is true, we cannot select an add-on campaign when we call a start new campaign vote. Also, I seem to recall hearing that Marvel's only running 1 campaign on the server first, to see how things go.

3. This is not new/low level friendly at all. Besides that laser part, two of the maps have places that are Charger/boomer/jockey playgrounds. Very favoring for infected. It took me and Skinhead 2v0ing it to get through the campaign at all :\
