Custom MG Toaster Skin

Well, I just wanted to see what it would look like.. came out alright. Should work fine on the servers.

I haven't actually seen it on the server yet because toasters seem to get snapped up before I can check, so could someone that can spawn special toasters confirm it works?

 

Do all the toasters look the same?

 

Theoretically when the Tanks drop toasters, they will have their normal glow's but you'll also see them with the MG logo on the side. I haven't been able to see one of the toasters in game yet so I can't confirm it works. But as in that screenshot all normal toasters located in maps will have the MG logo.

Since toasters are our "thing", that's all I'm going to add the logo too. It was just for fun and you will only see it if you download the addon

 

First time I clicked the download like it was a malware download popup...(Thanks MediaFire). Luckily my Norton caught and blocked it.

Perhaps upload it to the mgftw site to prevent this on less secure machines::

 

you used one of the images i made for the android app? how did you just get the "MG" bit? i never sent you a transparent version lol

The magic of the Eraser tool in Photoshop and the fact the texture is only 256x256, where your logo image was quite large and detailed. Once you shrink it down, you lose all the details around the edges of the letters, so you can't actually tell that the background still exists.

If you did have a transparent version of just the letters, it might look even better. I'm planning on adding this to the map vpk, so when they download it they will see the toasters even if they don't have this version.
