Crafting Gems - How it works ?

What's up guys ? In Brazil it's 20:02 PM. (I thought you might wanna know, so...)
I'm here to ask how the gems craft system works, cause today i was crafting then sometimes it was too easy to craft, but 1gem per craft, sometimes its too hard to craft, but 5 gems per craft, can someone explain me how this works, or it's just random ? Thanks

 

Do 4 crafts each round. No less than 4, no more than 4.

 

When ever you craft successfully, it says "You've crafted 1 gem!" But that's NOT true. That sentence is incorrect so you need to see how many gems you had before you got the successful craft. Let's say you have 0 gems, and it says you've crafted 1 gem, that might not be true. Let's say you've gotten three, how would you know that? 0 + 3 = 3 gems. Meh, I hope this clears it out, kinda hard to explain lol, but it's not hard at all.

 

You CAN craft only 1 gem

We can only craft 1, that's true, but this doesn't mean that u will get only 1 gem.
I was crafting now, and i saw something, but dunno if this is right:
When i have 1 to 10 gems i can craft one.
10 to 20 - 1~2 per craft
20 to 30 - 2~3 per craft
30 to 40 - 3~4 per craft
When i reached 40 gems the forge failed so many times, and i lost 10000 points without no succesful craft.
Then finally, i got 5 gems for the last craft.
Don't know if this is right or it's only luck.
I keep thinking that the crafting is aleatory, or, the more your successful, the more gems you'll earn.

NOT TRUE! it's probably just your luck and stuff. I remember when I was at that point. When I had 10-20 I could still get 5 gems...
