!cp Thoughts and Upgrades

Hello MGFTW members/admins/staff.

I am here today for peaceful suggestions about !cp menu's and market menu. Having just come back from several other games i have come to realize i forgot every single upgrade i can get at my current level. What i suggest is next to said upgrade there could be a level number that is the level you need to be to get that upgrade. Further more you could put how much money and gems you need to get it. (I only wish for the first request to be made if the second one is too hard.) So that is one suggestion.

My second suggestion is a reputation meter. If you type a certain command (e.g !repme) then it would show you what your reputation is and how much you need to gain/lose to get to a certain level of reputation. I have seen this suggested on various other forums so i thought i would include it.

MY third and final suggestion is something that has annoyed me for a loooong time. Seeing as my computer monitor has a high resolution than normal i cannot read the text that would normally show my quick !cp and health of enemies. I suggest that it changes with your resolution.(I know i can change what i shows up as in settings but some things such as health of enemies and "You are suffering from a smoker cloud" hundreds of times)

About your suggestion to /cp menu it already exists.


As you can see There are requirements needed for upgrade including both level and cost.

To See this you need to select certain upgrade from Market in Control Panel.

I would like to see hordes for sale in the buy menu again, just for VS. hordes of mudmen and stuff, we used to have it, was fun. :pop2:

 

I like this idea... buying a horde with a chance of:
- Jimmy Gibbs
- Mudders
- Security Guards
- CEDA
- Clowns

I know CEDA/Clowns come from some hordes on some maps.

Anyways, the idea would be cool if a regular horde included these; a whole horde of JUST those would annoy the gamers, I think.

 

jimmy gibbs is really funny, mudmen, security guards, pro's get f*cked up and start ragin, price-less! :clap2:

 

ah yes, I love that Idea too, so great If mgftw can implement it, I never seen Jimmy Gibs in my whole time ._.

 

The only time i have ever seen jimmy gibbs id on helms deep, im yet to see him on a normal server

 

He's cool but a TOTAL pain in the ass... Gibbs' attacks are combined (mudder, etc...) Very strong "Uncommon Common."

 

He only spawns in the Atrium finale map... and only has a 5% chance of spawning (Vanilla L4D2) http://left4dead.wikia.com/wiki/Uncommon_Infected#Jimmy_Gibbs_Junior

 

That isnt quite what i meant, i meant that in the menu where you chose all the upgrades from the list of market items. So if i wanted to buy something i could just go to market, open up skills, look at the entire list of upgrades and at the right there would be a level that i would have to meet to buy it. (e.g Iron skin : Lvl 5, Spit upgrade : Lvl 10, etc.)

okay i understand what he means and i think this would be a great idea, it was always a little annoying what skills and upgrades get upgraded at specific levels.

 

Laziness! Click the skill or upgrade once to get the requirements.. pfft, people

 

Normally it wouldnt be an issue but every time i go into an upgrade it immediately takes me back to the first page of the upgrade menu. Which annoys the hell out of me. And it is easier to check on the go.

 

As much as i agree that it would annoy players it is kind of hypocritical to say that when there is an upgrade that at full can completely stop players in there tracks and prevent movement whilst doing INSANE damage and the spitter being able to retreat with 10 seconds of invincibility. I get your point though. XD
