Connection Issue (not sure if related to updates)

I was trying to connect to the EU and US servers and my console showed this:

I click on the server and half a second later it brings me back to the main menu. I wasn't sure if this has to do with the recent updates. First time it's happened to me. My apologies if it was related.

It's because L4D2 has been updated (to 2110) but the server has not yet had it applied. You'll just have to be patient and wait for it to be updated

 

Correct, those types of system messages mean our servers need to be updated by a Root.

 

After last update steam & L4D2 dedicated servers and server mg not work.... does not appear the section dedicated servers to the start screen. just me?...

 

You crash to the start screen? Or you can't see the steam server browser list on the start screen?

Help! is 3 days now that there no more dedicated servers list on the Home screen of L4D2!!! No longer go after update? ... but that just me? ... I had this problem solved long ago, deleting and re-installing the game ... but you have other solutions???

 

For now, use the OpenServerBrowser or another Prog called HLSW.
You can watch the servers, seeing whos on and directly joining.

Then there's nothing we can do. Valve has to fix this bug because it is affecting other people too - they will most likely fix it tomorrow because today is Labour Day. Use openserverbrowser and save your favourite servers that way.
