Hello all, I am curious to know which game you think is better/you like more and why? I have noticed that people generally like one or the other, but never both. So it made me curious. Please if you vote on the poll or post, explain why
Jesus.....i played Halo (1) for nearly 7 Years....first alone on several servers, then in "my" Clan with 100 Members and over 20 Servers with crazy Mods as shit......lol It depends what you expect form the Game....if you like to play in a Science Fiction Atmosphere with cool Weapons i recommended Halo of course, but only Halo 1. I tested CoD few years ago, but i dont like it, i dont like War Games in General. In Halo, you make a short setup and then you can play ....alone, with 15 another players..... Contra, the Halo Community going down more and more, donno how many Clans or servers left. But maybe try both, i guess they cost less then 5 $.
I chose cod because i would buy that over halo any day of the week.. Why? Coz halo seems fake and gay to me.
I just really don't like COD games. They are all pretty much the same: Start, go kill some people in Africa or Asia, kill some major terrorist, and the end. There is nothing new in any game really. The zombies were a good add, but it is still people killing more people, aka boring. With Halo, there is a continuous story that you can follow. Nothing is ever the same. There are also books that came from the Halo series. Can't say that about COD. The aliens are at least unique. And there is no killing terrorists.
I'd have to say Halo because of the same reason Choco just stated above. There are so many possibilities in it and the first Halo was also my first video game ever.
Why is there no "Both" option? I've played Halo 3 for 3 years and then when MW2 came out, I was on that for 2 years. I personally liked MW2 better only because I dominated in that game. Halo 3 was really really fun but the main problem with it was the teams. You play Team Doubles and you always lose because the opposite team always had two 50's. You play Team Slayer and you end up carrying the team. Lone Wolves was where I got my 43 in, but people always were better than me in that game. But MW2.. omfg. I got over 30 nukes in the first two months of playing. And many times I would have gotten a nuke if I had it set. And Halo is just killing people too No different. You replace the terrorist model with a covenant and boom. But doesn't change the fact that people playing behind it is still a person.
So you didn't like Halo because people were better than you? What's the fun in that? Every game would be boring if you were the best at it.
Halo for the story, COD for the MP.... Halo was like my second or third pc game after DUKE 3D...i never played the MP much but i loved the story. I was into CODMW for a while and was pretty good at it...always finished on top at the end of a map but it got boring after a while and ive never played it since lol...didnt bother with MW2 either...pretty much the same game play, played it for shits with my mate on the ps3 a few times but thats about it.
