Hi all, Because we're steam only now, which means we'll get less players and the fact that L4D2 is losing popularity we're going to close several servers. As you may have noticed, Sao Paulo has been closed already. Los Angeles is the next one that will not be extended (expires Jan. 10th 2012). For the other 3 servers that sill run on Leaseweb: Berserker, Vicious and Mixed Mode, only Vicious will come back when that one expires. Of course this cut down on servers is considered as a temporary measure, when L4D3 comes out or a new DLC which increases demand for more slots we will add more servers again but right now it's just a matter of demand and supply and it doesn't seem very logical to keep paying hundreds of dollars a month for empty servers. So servers that will stay are: - All EU PR servers (vs, coop, event server). - EU non-PR servers (L4D1, Vicious Infected). - Asia PR (vs, coop). - Chicago PR (vs, coop, event server). - Chicago non-PR (L4D1, Vicious)* * L4D1, Vicious on Chicago will make place for events when they are held.
